its a lie!!! please trainers don't let him comeback yet. don't these bastards have like a gauntlet for him to run to see if he is truly back to "normal"? (what the hell is normal for him anyway?) I'm tired of the trainers just asking a player if he is ok to play.. test him out.. rigorously..
edit: shouldn't have posted after watching only 3 minutes of tape.. 13 mins was too long for that interview
when he said he had a great family.. great kids... what about his wife? uh oh.. someones sleeping on the couch
185lbs five times? thats it?
he hasn't lifted in 8 months?.. wow and he thought he didn't need the preseason to get back in shape..
im glad he wants to take a few more hard practices before he comes back..
fyi im in the neutral crowd.. heres to having a HEALTHIER McGrady in the coming days..

To be hones I will feel a lot more confident if it takes more time and only them come back.
It's good to see that he feels better in his head but I want him to feel like he is 100% in his body too , I am kind of skeptical until I see it on the court but I hope 10 days can truly make such a big difference.

Whether he's 100%, we'll never know until he steps onto the court.
I thought this was a good interview and although he stated the obvious, he clarified a lot for those confused and die-hard pro-McGrady fans. The bottom line is that he was out shape (rehab wasn't taken seriously), and it led to his mental lapse. Simple as that.

That interview was probably longer than he's worked out. Dude should just shut it down until after the all-star break.

This is my prediction:
Mac is going to say he feels great, and then he's going to come back and "hurt" himself again. He'll head to the sideline for 2-4 weeks, then come back and play the way he should be playing while the rest of the team masters offensive execution.
We've just gotta keep winning games, stay in the top 6-7, and then we'll go on a run somewhere in the middle of February.

T-Mac and Artets are expected to return by the 26th, we play Golden State on the 31st, last year we played them on the 29th when we started our streak----just sayin'

Well i took two things from this interview. when he said he could care less about the haters, because he has a great famil to come home to, that means "i could care less about basketball, its the last thing on my mind." when he said basketball provided him with a great lifestyle and he has no worries, that means "im making 21 million dollars this year. I dont have that competitive fire to prove myself. I got my money, now im gonna sit back and collect checks."

I hope its true but, I think he should sit out about another week or two just to be sure he's ready. If T-Mac and Artest are both completely healthy we can see what this team was suppost to be at the beginning of the season and quiet all the haters and watch all the bandwagoners hop aborad.

Ron Artest and Tracy McGrady took part in the Rockets’ practice Wednesday, but practice was limited to walking through sets and “five-on-zero” drills with no scrimmaging.
McGrady is expected to play either Sunday in Detroit or Monday in New York, Rockets general manager Daryl Morey said. Artest’s return is uncertain, pending results of an MRI late Tuesday and a bone scan scheduled for this morning.
“ (The ankle sprain) is getting better,” Artest said. “There are just other things (a bone bruise) that were wrong. They want to make sure those things are OK. This was my first day I was able to shoot with the team and move a little bit. That was encouraging. I’m definitely feeling better. I still have more days I’m not going to play, and I’m not going to do full-contact practice.”
Hope McGrady's not rushing.

i think it's best for both to come back after the all-star break
just 11 more games and mostly against sub .500 team which we can win half of them without them

Usually take T-Mac's words with a grain of salt, have heard the same tune countless times. . .but this one was better than the others, his trainer actually commented on the situation, and listed improvements in his physical condition these past 10 days and McGrady does look considerably more fit in the video.
Again, can't trust anything till I see him on the court, but this is KINDA reassuring...kinda.
