So just a couple hours ago I met joey dorsey at the Gallera.. NO ONE seemed to recognize this dude. Anyway he was very nice and told me that he's on the injured list and he's rehabbing for a month. Now I could have looked this information up.. but what exactly is wrong with him? is he really injured or just not on the rotation? and wouldn't he still travel with the team while being injured?
Also, what does dorsey bring to the Rockets? Never followed him at Memphis and the only game I saw was the national championship game, which is like a distant memory by now...
Met Clyde Drexler at the gym a few days ago and now Dorsey at the galleria.. good week

You really wanna know why Joey Dorsey isn't playing? Are you ready for the truth?

Well he's seems to have A LOT of potential, hope he can just come back next season and get some PT with us. Also he's HUGE, looks like a mini Dwight Howard.

Damn, good video.
I knew Dorsey didn't have any refined offensive skill, but that video's ridiculous. The jumphook is one of the most fundamental moves for any big man. I mean the guy played 4 years in Memphis under a very good coach, yet he can't even make consecutive jumphooks? I wonder what kind of practice he did in Memphis.

The guy couldn't make jumphooks from 4 feet out in practice.... when no one is guarding him.
He's very very raw.

Haha yeah, "raw". I bet it's cause his arms are 27 feet long. It is rather amazing that he hasn't picked that up yet.

To Answer your Question Joey Dorsey is suffering from a Plantar Fasciitis Problem the same injury that hindered Mario Williams his whole rookie season. Its basically a sharp pain that shoots up your foot when you put pressure on it ....for an athlehte you can still play on it like mario did but it totally takes away your explosiveness ........To answer your next question joey brings toughness scary intimidating defense and sports center top ten highlights when he dunks on people i think that when he gets healthy he is gonna replace Chuck Hayes because he is a better defender and has a lil more offense (no more of chuck hayes missed layups Dorsey will dunk it every time)

Huge? He's like 6'8 and just a wide load... There's no way he'll be a post presence in this league unless he approaches the game like Brandon Bass, Carl Landry and etc.... No way is he gonna develop a game like Elton Brand because that's almost natural talent which doesn't have. He's a bust period.
