I always thought it was Tmac just being too lazy, to like dive for a ball in a mean nothing regular season game...
but when he started talking about not going to a allstar game because he was afraid for his safety...
or sleep in a tent in Africa because he was scared for his safety
or now to jump off his left leg... 10 months after minor surgery
everyone knows you got to use it or lose it... and on top of that favoring leg over the other can lead to injury on the good leg
really makes me wonder about the mental make up of our team leader...

He talks b/c he knows nothing will happen to him.....we can't trade him b/c he value is so low right now....him and luther must be using the same strategy
I'mma laugh if Morey works his magic and gets them both off the team in a trade. I don't care if it's for peanuts b/c if one player isn't giving it his all...everyone elses level of play will go down. Look at the Bucks...nobody is really good on that team, they just played hard and left it on the court. We need that type of effort from all our players.....

I used to care about keepin' TMac, Artest, Yao, Battier core together.. Now I could care less. get rid of Mac first and foremost please. Washed up non-effort giving loser needs to get the **** out.

When Yao was getting rejected by the rim, he never used injury rehab as an excuse even though he could have.

Like I said....McGrady has issues that even a priciest of shrinks can't fix. There is truly something mentally not right about this individual.

I've always liked T-Mac for the most part and enjoyed seeing him play, especially in his earlier days when he was just a monster, but I think it's finally gotten to the point for me that I really just can't wait until this whole T-Mac/Yao era is over. I just don't see us getting anywhere with this core and if we haven't already, we never will(but obviously I would LOVE for them to prove me wrong).
I just want a team that brings it on both ends of the floor night in and night out, consistently, with true leadership(anyone remember that Hakeem guy? Oh, how spoiled we were). I want to remember what it feels like to actually win in the postseason, not be consistently disappointed every single year.
I'm not one who thinks it's all T-Mac's fault by any means, but I just can't wait until we go in a different direction and be done with it already. We all need a fresh start every once in a while!
That's my rant for the year. Now if you'll excuse me I have a world domination to plan and wallabies to train...
GO ROCKETS! (seriously, come on now...)

From Solomon's blog on Tmac:
http://blogs.chron.com/jeromesolomon/20 ... st_74.html"After talking to Tracy McGrady, it is my professional opinion that a mental health professional is indeed a need."
--------
"He needs to get his head in the game.
Say what you want about McGrady, he deserves the criticism for a host of failings, but no critic has ever said he couldn't finish a one-on-none break.
If you're on a one-man break, praying for help to make a play, you're no longer a basketball player, you are a basket case."

Fran Blinebury's blog on Tmac:
http://blogs.chron.com/franblinebury/20 ... _rock.html------
""Well, it's because it didn't get any better prior to surgery and post-surgery," McGrady said.
What?
So the surgeon ordered a pizza, watched a cable movie and then took McGrady off the anesthesia and told him the knee was fixed?"
------
I couldn't help but laugh when I read the his portion.
