So Is Tmac Done?

With the Rockets I mean. Next season you see him being traded or not play like a Marbury or playing top level just to get paid somewhere else? I'm a huge Tmac fan and I just hate to see him act like a wuss and just not have heart towards the team it seems like. I personally hope he comes back and plays and stays with the Rox but no way he should get a huge contract.

Tmac = Marbury episode 2

At least Marbury shows willingness to play, and not hiding himself behind so-called "injury"

It may sound funny but i still have faith in him.If he takes his rehab seriously he can be back.The fact that amare did makes me have fatih.And if he doesn't his contract expires before 2010 he would be welcomed by a team looking to rebuild or a team looking to dump salary.both ways he'll be useful.

I think if McGrady elects to have surgery his career is over, micro-fracture generally takes a year to recover from, which would put him out to this point NEXT season, and that's being optimistic considering his work ethic and desire, look at how poorly he has rehabbed from a simple surgery in the off-season. And it's nice to bring up guys like Amare, Stockton, and Kidd, all of whom come back and remained at the all-star level that they were previously, BUT Amare is much younger than McGrady, and players like Stockton and Kidd, first off had no serious injury problems before like McGrady, and both, especially Stockton are two of the most fundamentally sound players to have ever played the game, they didn't rely on their athleticism or even quickness to make them the player that they were, especially when compared to McGrady.

His career is done if he opts to go with micro-fracture.

It really doesn't matter, his contract is expiring next year, we will prob land another borderline allstar with his contract next year. If he decide to stay with us (We will be more than happy to offer him MLE). Everything sounds good to me so far.

I think we should make a run at Marbury with that 3 million though. It may be too much to use on Marbury, but then we can give him the Vet Min and be good with that.

Except Amare had youth on his side. If you look at all the players that had the surgery, the ones it ended careers for were pretty much on the older side. Penny Hardaway, Chris Webber, Jamal Mashburn and Allan Houston come to mind.

If earliest I expect him to start playing again is the summer of '10

I have my doubts. He didn't respond too well with minor surgery. So after a microfracture surgery, it's going to be tougher to come back since his knee is probably not going to be the same unless he puts some serious rehab into it.

As far as trading him goes, No one will trade for an injured star.
