Haha great game thread, we need to just control Paul, leave him out of the lane, and play solid defense. I keep forgetting that other thing we do bad, umm...what is it again? oh yeah CLOSE OUT THE GAME!

Make CP3 a scorer, and Limit West.

Aaron Brooks needs to dish out some freakin' assists, and look less towards scoring.
You are a freakin' point guard, for god sake.

Maybe the loss to San Antonio was a blessing in disguise, If we were the second seed we would be looking at facing the Jazz in the first round and that's definitely not what we want.

Sort of a make up game for the Spurs loss if we can get it. But we'll probably get rocked in NO.

I don't know why a lot of ppl are saying that We can't beat Hornets in the playoff. For Rockets, CP3 is much easier to guard than Derron Williams. I am kind of hope that we meet Hornets in the playoff.
For this game, even it is on the road, we should have it.

As long as Artest don't do an artest on us. If we get artested by Artest, then it's almost a goner. We can only hope that his shots will go in. I hope Yao and scola will turn up.

Artest is good. He's a high percentage spot up shooter. He plays intimidating defense. He brings a certain toughness that this team was missing in the previous 3 years.
The Tru Warier on the other hand is awful. Gambles too much. Dribbles too long. Does too many inexplicably stupid things.. Shoots too many contested fadeaway jumpers.
Bad news for us is that Artest only shows up in the first 3 quarters of a basketball game. The Tru Warier takes over in the 4th.

Hmm, I'm not sure what to classify Brooks game the last night, he did have 18 points, but it was on somewhat inefficient shooting, AND he finished the game with 0 assists in over 30 minutes of play. Assuming for Brooks standards that's a solid game, that means the next game should likely be a game he shoots under 40% from the floor, and scores less than 10 points ala the Bobcats game, he can't string together any sort of consistency. That Brooks on the road against CP3 means trouble.
I'm not expecting anything, but we seem to win when we least expect it especially after a loss, so I won't be surprised either way, but I'm expecting the worse.

3pt defense cant fall or theyll kill us. peja, wright, butler all can shot lights out from there., specially 6'10 peja. they got cp3 in the last min of the game too, so he wont be a pathetic **** and choke the game away. yao ming needs more than 9 shots, ron has to make his shots.
maybe brooks can tire cp3 by scoring a load on him?

Fellow rocketeerios, dont fear the fears! we can give any top team a 7 game series any time, and winning or losing is a decision of god.

Feed the ball to yao, chandler can't stop him. I think AB/Lowry will do a good job on CP3

As always, we live and die by bench production.
