Well we got days off. Who knows what'll happen standings wise between now and then. We may have yet another chance to snag the #2 spot.

Hopefully the standings do not change too much.

Need to get back to #2 so we can avoid the jazz in the first round

I wouldn't be surprised if Utah ends up 8th (0-8 against .500 + teams in the west on the road, they're @ 6 of them to close out the season).

Utah is desperate to get us in the playoffs, well so be it. we have only a few games to bone up with and we arent really entitled to pick teams so lets nail this win

Their line up is a bit of a worry in terms of how we match up with them but I'm confident we can pull this out.

Watch out for Mike Taylor.

Yao will have yet ANOTHER crappy game. I'm calling it, because i know it will happen. he will get shut down easily, fronted, double-teamed, won't get rebounds, the rockets wont give him the ball. he will be ineffective tonight. I guarentee it. its a damn shame too. but hopefully Rockets pull this one out, despite Yao's horrible game.

Rockets will blow them out. Have you SEEN Baron Davis' numbers this year? Highly unlikely they find any energy to beat a good team this late in the season.

Artest and Battier will shut down Gordon and Thornton, and we should just let Z BO chuck. 20 point victory, BAM!

Man...I've gotten so used to a Rox game every couple days that the idea of one game in 7 days seems like torture to me!

I'm sure that the team doesn't mind the rest, tho! ;)

To OP, the tie breaker situation is not up to date.

Tie breaker:
Houston and Utah is 2-2 now.

Conference Records:
Utah is 30-12 now
Denver is 28-15 now
New Orleans is 26-16 now
Dalles is 23-20 now
Portland is playing Suns and their conf rec will change after tonight's game.

We need to win this game. We cant afford to lose and if we do it will be inexcusable. Hopefully the Jazz choke against Pheonix again as well. That should make things interesting going down the stretch.

if we want to avoid the jazz we can avoid the jazz, we can afford to drop a couple of games while holding the home court, but jazz, i dont think they can afford to drop any game. the suns will work really hard to bite their tails. (and the pissed me off by losing the last game)

what's wrong with nba.com?
the put us at #4 when we are tie with Denver
i thought we were 3-0 against them this season
shouldn't we win the tie break?

We need some love.
