Now that the Rockets have officially clinched playoff, should the Rockets start
resting Yao and Artest, maybe limiting their minutes to about 20-25 mpg?
Any qestions?

Well, the players have been getting plenty of rest this past week (3-day rest prior to the Clippers game and 3-day rest after the Clippers game) and they're off until Wednesday. Also, Yao and Artest look relatively healthy and compared to other all-stars, they are averaging only 33 and 35 minutes, respectively. Right now the goal is to get that 2nd or 3rd seed for home court, so I don't think we can afford to limit their PT to 20 - 25 minutes. Work hard, secure a top seed and take the entire week off before the playoffs - i.e.: the third week of April (2 games).

We have a tough schedule till the very last game, can't afford to rest players, plus it's not like Yao plays a whole bunch of minutes (33), while like TMU said, this past week they've had a big resting week.

Compared to the other teams' schedules we have it relatively easy (lots of rest). All the playoff teams will play hard teams for the remainder of their season. I'm not a fan of limiting minutes, but if you're gonna sit out the whole game I'm fine with that. Players tend to get hurt more often when they half ass it in a game. So either play your normal minutes (barring a blowout) or sit out the whole game.

HCA is what we need. No blowout, no change to the rotation... As a matter of fact... Aldeman still doesn't have a Playoff rotation, due to the fact the he was experimenting and we can't have that going into the playoffs.

why you always created new thread asking a question?

Who cares what he does as long as we get home court and don't draw the jazz in the first round

We should try to get the 2nd seed and see if the jazz lose their last couple of games to play us....similar to what they did last year.....
