Predict a loss. Portland will want this more.
Also when you hear post game comments from Yao about Rockets unable to execute the game plan at least 10-20 times in a game, shows me we are far from ready.
I would say every game we probably have 15 or 20 possessions that the play is ran to the wrong place, or when all five guys know the play there is only about 12 seconds left (on the shot clock). That’s our biggest problem right now. It (happens) too many times
And posts from Rick on Yao's minutes shows me he doesn't trust Deke at all and still no clue that we need Yao to be fresh in the 4th.
I learned my lesson. I have to get him out of there. I wanted to keep him on the floor with Gasol because of his size, at least he can fight him a little bit. I thought with the timeouts and it being a TV game that he’d be okay, but he got really tired in the fourth quarter. So when they went up ten I just felt that we’re going to go small and if we cut it down under six or something, we’d put him back in. Otherwise, I was going to save him for the Portland game.
I still can't believe it 10-20 plays not being executed properly. Lol and i thought it was motion offense with 0 set plays, i guess it was just the inability to run the play and thats why we look like chickens with our head cut off.
I blame that on Rick, Yao for not being vocal, Artest for iso, AB for not stepping up and controlling the ball.
Loss to portland if this continues and a 1st round exit no matter who we play.

Stopping in early to say hi.
Should be a good game. Anyone know the last time Portland won in Houston?

It's probably like 5 seasons + since PDX has won in HOU. If Portland comes out as flat as they have in the past against Houston, it'll be a blowout.

Sometimes I wonder if Adelman is just plain lucky (he won the coach of the month i think) with the Wins so far. He sometimes seems clueless... and always makes that same mistakes... I'm starting to think he is a stubborn old man whose game has been outgunned by the realities of today's basketball games.

I like the pictures

And I don't see a win here, but this team is weird, and we're solid at home. We need this win.

On a separate note, someone should voice out and tell Adelman that his motion offense ain't gonna work and will never work in Houston - we just don't have the sort of talent for his system...
Someone needs to tell him to work with what we've got and not make the guys work for something that they ain't gonna achieve spectacularly - Seriously, either he is not flexible (meaning stubborn) or he just simply knows one system of basketball and that's it folks.

Practically three but yeah, I was way off. The funny thing is I think I remember that game now that you mention it, but it feels like a long long long long long long long long long... time ago.

HUGE game for the Rockets!!! With this recent 2 game slid, home court advantage is slipping from our grasp. This is a game we should win and I think this is game we will win. The Rockets take care of business at home. We need a big game from both sides of the floor from both Yao & Artest. Battier and Brooks need to hit the outside shot. Hayes has to be agressive on the boards. And Super Von Wafer has to have some kind of impact offensively in this game. Without Landry, Wafer is really the only offensive threat we have off the bench.
The Spurs lost to Cleveland, so a win tonight can get us back in the mix for a division title.
