Really interesting. There is obviously someone we want cause we've tried hard now, we've tried to get Washington's 5th pick.

This draft night is going to be interesting. I think if we cannot pry a pick for McGrady, we are trading him for a ready-now star as in Amare, Carter, etc.

I like Harden but I didn't get to see him play much and Morey has proven he knows what he is doing when it comes to draft picks

I love Harden or Evans, if we could somehow move up, they'd be great additions depending on the packages. Saying that, doubt anything with the picks happen, especially with Amare rumors heating up.

Now there are rumors of the Rockets moving up to the 2nd pick dangling both Battier and Brooks, taking back Jaric's contract.

Chad Ford:

The Grizzlies also are still shopping their pick and one potential trade may persuade them to part with it. A source in Memphis says the Rockets have offered Shane Battier and Aaron Brooks for No. 2. The Grizzlies could send them the dreaded Marko Jaric contract back and save some face in the draft if they did it. Who are the Rockets after? That is the question..

For Battier and Brooks? Better be a damn good player...

With the ankle and his age, does Morey see Battier losing effectiveness next season? I'm surprised to see "offered" and "Battier" in the same sentence, given his prior untouchability.

Yeah, it seems like we'd be going after Rubio, who I'm not really sold on. I think Harden will be a much more "sure" thing and same with Evans though Rubio's ceiling might be higher. Morey has spoke real highly about Rubio in the past couple of says as well.
