Rockets/Morey Draft Watch Thread

While we don't currently have a draft pick but with all these crazy rumors flying around, any draft pick from 2-60 could potentially be a ROCKET!! How excitin.....

But realistically we probably aren't going to get any draft picks on draft nights. Even if Morey trades for a pick, we probably won't know the details until a good time after the draft.

I have a huge man crush on slick Rick. If we can get him, I'll trade the whole team for him.

Ricky Rubio

Ban! :D

Doubt we'll nab one of those high lottery picks. According to Katz Memphis is keeping the pick. The T-Wolves are likely to keep both 5th and 6th and the Kings are high on Tyreke Evans.

I'm not very familiar with this year's draft crop. Are there any 7 foot stiff stated to go near the bottom of the first round? If so, he could be a rocket.

Just saw this on ESPN.com

Hasheem Thabeet wrote:Mutombo blocks shots, I block shots. But other than that we're different. I'm capable of doing a lot of different things. You couldn't ask for more than he did, but I have heard people say I'm more like Dikembe and Yao. Dikembe on D, Yao on O. Those are the kinds of goals I have set for myself. I haven't gotten to shoot the ball that much at UConn. But I was working on it all the time. I think I'll surprise some people with my offense.

Trade Yao Ming for Yaosheem Dikembeet.

Ok next few picks will be interesting. if rockets has any chance of getting a 1st round picks, it is either the Griz or the wolves..

DaJuan Blair is falling like a rock too, though he is quite under-sized.

Budinger's McGrady-like intensity he demonstrated in college is killing his stock. Such a damn shame.

Blair is undersized and he has a medical history. I was quite surprised to hear that he's projected in the mid 1st round. Great college player but he really is a 2nd-round player. See Craig Smith.
