That means that you won't get him in the next 4 years, like S.A didn't get Scola and cannot bring Tiago Spliter right now.

I think your made a mistake not signing him before when you had a chance. Yes, he is soft at defense, but in important game he usually rise up his defense, and his talent in offense is extraordinary.

I don't know much about Eliyahu, but does his new contract have a buy-out? He'll only be 30 in four years and if he is anything like Scola in terms of development, then he could still contribute as a seasoned veteran if we decide to bring him over.

I don't know exactly but probably there is buyout like usually at Tau.
But he is still not 24.

He's 23, and the deal is worth 6 mill. If the Rockets want him to play for them, and he wants to come to the NBA, it'll happen.

6 million euros net. That's about a $17 million NBA contract. You won't see him probably ever.
