God, I hope we don't get Varejao....
Secondly, how sweet would it be to have the NBA love child play along with the NBA's most hated. This soap opera they call the NBA keeps getting sweeter.....

Aside from LeBron they don't have anyone we like.

LOL...unlikely. But if it does happen at least he went out East so we don't have to worry until the Finals and by the time we get there our team will be too rigged to lose to the Cavs.

Artest would make them worse IMO, not to mention, I highly doubt he'd settle for the MLE.

Give us Lebron for Yao and Ron.

Please no Varejao. DM can't be that desperate. How does Cleavland have so much money? Aren't they paying Lebron and Shaq max?

Cavs only have the MLE to offer to Ron. Ron is expecting anything more than $37million over 4 years. The only way for Cavs to get him is to trade with Rockets. If Rockets managed to sign Gortat then there is no need for Varejao. However, if rockets failed to sign Gortat,.....
Update:
Yahoo has a report on Rockets need to resign Artest:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_d ... nba,174056So a sign & trade with rockets near impossible if Rockets want Artest back.

Is this the real Artest's twitter account? It's "verified", which means 99% of the time it is.
http://twitter.com/96TruwarierQB"Thanks a lot Houston

I had alot of fun

"
IF this means that Ron doesn't think he'll be returning to Houston, the Cavs are very likely. He was talking to the Cavs F.O. today, and Lebron in person (they're both in southern Cali). Could also be possible he's headed to LA though.

If this is really Artest, i see this as a ploy to get Rockets to up their offer. I strongly doubt he will go to Cavs for MLE. As for sign n trade, Cavs need to offer something really good to Rockets to go that route.

Multiple sites have that listed as his official twitter page, take it for what it is worth. I never expected more than a one year rental for Ron, and I am very happy for that. Ron has lost a lot on his defensive side, and isn't trying to use his most effective weapon nearly enough anymore, posting up the smaller guy. He spent too much time trying to facilitate the offense. Running the clock down and turning the ball over was getting very old to me. I am happy to see Aaron (if he stays) get even more time to run the offense.

Well, there goes the season. Who should we get in the lotto next year?

I'm pretty sure if its a verified account on Twitter, it is the actual person.
Morey only offered a 1 yr deal...so that sealed the deal and he won't be back.
His toughness and attitude will be missed but it looks like we are going on the rebuilding route.
We are now interested in Trevor Ariza.

It's really him, he gave out the address during an interview on a local sports radio station. Honestly, I'd rather get another player, Artest kills our offense too much. It's almost a Kevin Durant situation---he scores 35, but gives up 40.

Read that article and was about to post it here. If Rockets were only willing to offer only a 1-year deal to Artest, we can expect Artest to go somewhere else with the highest bidder.
Thinking about it and the fac that rockets drafted 2 wing players (JT and Chase) that can take some minutes that Artest had, Rocket management may have planned it long ago.

Rockets only offered 1 year deal, that's why, of course he'll have to move on.

I'm gonna miss Ron Ron and his Larry Birdesque moments. All I ask of him is to not sign with the Lakers or the Cavaliers.
EDIT: Oh wow, this traitor wants to play for LA/CLE. Ship this traitor's ass out already. F*ck it, I'm not gonna miss you Ron.

His brother claims the Lakers are the lead dog. He'd make em worse.

If he went to CLE, I think he'd make them worse. If LAL, no, cause Kobe & Phil will keep him in check. I mean Phil worked with Rodman, and knowing Ron will be Ron, those ill-advised shots, those nonsense dribbling out clocks would be immeaditly revoked, and Phil will put him on a shorter leash.
At least I'd think so, be curious. It's a huge gamble for either team, the talent & heart is there, the brain is missing. For LAL it's 50-50 really(succeed or fail), for Cle it's more like 20-80(succeed or fail).
With McGrady, Artest tried to get his own, I can't imagine what it'll be like when LeBron runs the team. McGrady barely even micromanaged, imagine the work with LeBron.

If Ron joins CLE, and they don't get a ring next year. then what?
