Sources say Hedo just agreed to sign with Portland...
It's going to be that much tougher for the Rockets to be a contending team...if that was in the picture for this season

Am I the the only one who thinks Hedo is a bit overrated and not the greatest of fits in POR? Not that he's not clutch, because he certainly is, but that throughout the course of the game I'm not sure he's worth 50m. Think about it, he's ~15ppg shooting in the low .400s, with average rbd'ing and above avg assists. He tends to avoid contact and so he doesn't draw a lot of fouls, and he's 30 yrs old.
Fit-wise POR already has an elite closer in Roy, nor does POR lack shooters/scorers. Hedo doesn't fit in with their young core either, so unless POR believes they are contenders already then I just don't see it being that great of a signing. What POR really needs is some defensive wings. Maybe we can dangle Battier for one of their young wings.

I think Hedo is overrated a tad bit as well, but I like his fit on the Blazers.
When we faced them last season in the playoffs, it reminded me so much of the Rockets team of old. A team heavily reliant on their wing perimeter star, and another star big man that in their wins stepped up his game, and in their losses was generally poor. And outside of those two, role players who succumbed under the pressure (Outlaw for example) and were unable to get any sort of consistent offense. Hedo would bring them a secondary player that can create his own shot, and be a threat for nearly 20 points per game every night. He's also a good shooter so he adds to the ability to play off the ball. I think the Blazers two biggest weaknesses are their overall team defense which is predicated on Oden's improvement and not having enough firepower offensively, which Hedo should definitely add to and make better.

Hedpo would have been a good fit offesively on POR but a liability on D. A guy that can score taking some pressure off of Roy would have been ideal, but looks like Hedo is bolting for TOR?!

Apparently he can't live without that extra 5 million. Hedo is a noob..how are you gonna go to a place when you know their best player is leaving next summer. Anyway.....Magic got better.

I think that hedo likes the city of Toronto better. His wife likes Toronto too. And the fact that they have alot of international players, and also paying him more money helps.

Good. Now I hope Portland goes after Lamar Odom. Get it done Pritchard. Stop LA.
