Yes, T-Mac's zealous fascination for Kobe Bryant gives him the right to join CP3 and Pretti Boi.

I get so  when these people try and make political statements. You get paid to play basketball, not make war plans.

STFU and play. The number you wear on your back is meaningless to anyone but a scorekeeper.

Chill out whether you love or hate T-Mac its for a good cause, something thats more important than basketball. Would we even be thinking about Darfur right now if not for this "meaningless" number change?

It works both ways. TMac will have plenty of time to work on Darfur AFTER he retires... right now he needs to focus purely on recovery/rehab/basketball/conditioning/etc/etc

Work ON Darfur? I think all he's doing is raising money. He was inspired to take up humanitarian causes in Africa by Mutombo, if I remember correctly.

That shouldn't get in the way of his recovery, and even if it did, so what? The dude's not going to come back and be the old McGrady. Trying to improve Darfur is tantamount to saving lives. How many lives is he gonna save by scoring 15 ppg on the court?
