The Hawks have tried a number of times to sign David. It was clear he had no intentions on playing for us so it was time to move him. Good luck signing him.

Andersen is a starting quality big....not a star but a solid player with quality size and good touch!!

Being an aussie myself I have seen alot of him dating way back to his days in the NBL, he is definately an NBA caliber player.

I do know he is signed, but not sure of any buy-outs.

Dude's outside game is good, but he won't be a huge presence inside. That being said, it was a necessary acquisition that will help the Rockets' depth, both in the short term and the long term. Fundamental and gifted offensively. Good timing on D. Not a great shot blocker. Will get the job done and stretch out the defense on offense, creating many lanes for Aaron Brooks to operate. Gonna be a nice pick & pop option.

This is if he signs, of course.

David has an NBA out-clause. You'll find out pretty soon, I believe he has to advise Barcelona Euroleague team if he is going to opt out by mid-July. I doubt Houston traded for his rights if they hadn't agreed to something in principle.
