A) Give it more than 20 minutes for someone to respond.
B) Nope, not really.

I'm a fan of Brian Cook...from the shootaround to the first whistle. After that, keep the bench warm.

It's cool how some players' managers are willing to do anything to create some buzz for their clients.
Good work, man. I'm sure Brian is pleased with your effort.

Moofs, I don't know if you follow baseball but those are the famous words of baseball outfielder Jeff Francoeur - a former Atlanta Brave who was recently traded to the NY Mets. The quote was almost as epic as when Carl Everett denied the existence of dinosaurs or when Iverson complained about practice.
OBP is the abbreviation for "on-base percentage", a measure of how often a batter reaches base and a good indicator of hitting as well as plate discipline. What's interesting about Francoeur is that he has almost four times as many strikeouts as walks in his career, and his career OBP is a rather pedestrian .309. Thus, the quote doesn't come as a surprise. How does a man understand what OBP is when he can't get on base?
When the trade was announced a few weeks ago, I put up the avatar to show my strong disapproval of the trade. Ironically, he's been batting .327 average with .350 OBP and even drove in 14 RBI ever since I put it up. I guess reverse psychology is a good thing.

That's a good explanation and all, but I can't read the quote. Too small.
Stupid 80 x 80 avatars.

Right-click, view image*. I do that lots with avatars here.
* That's how it works with Firefox, at least. If you're using IE, I can't help you.

Also, he should have paid more attention to his teammates.

he has a nice shot but that's about it.
either he gets no PT or he gets GT. (Garbage time)
i think he'll need to start looking for a job soon before his contract ends with the rockets. I don't think he'll be in the league after this contract.

cook is good for a 3rd backup, but shouldnt be in the rotation for a playoff team.
one thing tho, in the la/hou series, a game or so after yao went down, cook was on pau on the high block, pau was trying to loose him...he did, but not w/o a lot of contact that wasnt fouling, and he had his hands up the whole time as he was moving side to side defending pau. i dunno wtf was that, but it was good. if a team desperately needs a big, he's good but for low minutes or on the 3rd team.
