OT: Knicks, Dolan, and Cablevision

Whoa.

Does anyone else think this is as HUGE of a news item for the league as I do?
Looks like Dolan got ousted and given a broken-up cookie as repayment for his massive losses on the Knicks over the past 7+ years.
Any less revenues for the league?
Has he been signing his Knicks paychecks using Cablevision money?
Does this portend a change of team ownership?
How does Jimmy D like being moved from CEO of a 6.21b mkt cap corporation to CEO of a spinoff?
How likely is it that Madison Square Garden, L.P. quickly gets a massive influx of shorts put against it? (assuming it's publicly traded - which I haven't seen yet)
Why hasn't anything been on the Knicks board yet?

Cablevision said it is not considering a sale of Madison Square Garden or any of its businesses, as well as any other operations of the cable operator.
The diversified cable operator also reported an 8 percent drop in second-quarter earnings despite climbing revenue.
Cablevision said it earned $87 million, or 29 cents per share, in the most recent quarter, compared with $94.7 million, or 32 cents per share a year ago. Sales rose 9.8 percent to $1.88 billion.
