Man...I hope that everyone got the chance to watch that awesome game between the unranked Houston Cougars and the #6 ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys.
What a game! This Coach Sumlin is really putting an exciting product on the field. They aren't my alma mater, but I may have to go check out some of those games if that offense is going to be that much fun to watch all year!

Looks like my longhorns aren't going to play a top 10 team until the title game this season.

Oklahoma should be able to work there way back into the top 10 by matter of top 10 teams facing each other. That it is assuming they can beat Miami without Bradford the week after next.

We got a MAJOR kick out of that casual handoff play in the late third/early fourth.

They were ranked #52 prior to this game. Not top 25, but not exactly shabby either. They've been pretty decent the last 3-5 years, too.
In the 80s they were consistently top 10, prior to Ann Richards' (Baylor/UT alum) restructuring of Texas' public university funding structure + allowing them to jump conferences, they were very good. Things like that do a lot of damage, and it's taken them a long time to recover, which was done through accumulated research grants and inroads granted by Houston's economy.

I feel bad for laughing at the pun. I'll just blindly blame Ann Richardson for that as well.
