"Marc Stein of ESPN.com writes that Stackhouse is still on the market because he is waiting for a firm offer from the Rockets.
Stackhouse was called by Houston earlier this month when they decided not to sign Rashad McCants, according to sources."

Well, not sure about it.
Yes - We need a taller SG.
No - He wasn't playing well last season. A decline?

I'd rather give the PT to our young guys to "develop" them. This is realistically a rebuild season. So let the young cats get better so we can "make a run" in the next season or so.

I'm not so sure if I want the Mavs' trash....
On the subject of Birdinger, here are a few personal matchups I can't wait to see:
Birdinger vs. Adam Morrison
Birdinger vs. Steve Novak
Birdinger vs. Wally World
Birdinger vs. Reddick
Birdinger vs. Larry Bird
Hell, Chase vs. Larry can be the undercard of the Russell vs. Jordan matchup. Not only that, but Chase vs. Larry has the potential to be an emmy award winning tv show.
Get 'er done, Morey!

We don't need Stackhouse. We're not going to win anything this year. Why do we need him taking up playing time???

man we dont need him, we got enough players , if tmac dont pan out we can trade for a decent guard . the team is sposed to be playing mroe small ball. lowry/brooks/taylor at guards, shane can play sg for the entire game, we dont need a sg we need a SHOT BLOCKER!!!

Re: Stackhouse to the Rockets?
I would probably stop watching the Rockets if they acquire anybody from "that team".
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Don't want him. Don't need him. Too old. Too expensive. Need to develop young players, not make a retirement home for old ex-mavs.
