If you missed it this weekend: best ever

"I feel like I shot the ball well," Artest told the Los Angeles Times. "I feel like I'm playing great. That's how I feel."

He doesn't think he's still adjusting to the triangle offense of the Lakers.

Lakers coach Phil Jackson says that Artest has to "figure out" where he's most effective and that "shooting wise, he has not been shooting the ball well enough for his own satisfaction nor ours."

Thanks for all the fish.

i don't know why players are having difficulty playing the triangle offense
it's not that hard
just keep forming the triangle with two others and keep passing the ball and shoot it when you are open

LOL they didn't even use the triangle to win a title last year. Their pick and roll with Kobe and Gasol got em that title. The triangle is just something Phil talks about now...not something he relies on to win games.

Game Plan for Ron Artest:

1. Are you Open? If no, pass it to Kobe. If yes, Pass it to Kobe.

2. Do you have a shot at a Three? If No, pass it to Kobe. If yes, for god's sake, pass it to Kobe!!!

seems pretty simple to me! :D

I would like to derail my own thread with the following admission of eating my words on the Pau | Marc/1sts trade.

Marc seems even more killer than last year, when he was easily the best Grizz.
Great trade for both teams. Last year, I'd have said it was pretty even, this year, Grizz are looking great from it (at least as far as the pieces involved). Shoulda seen him play before calling it a rigged trade.

Lakers won a title because of Pau. Grizz won't be winning a title with Marc. Its still a rigged trade.

And they won how many championships with Pau? He's 5 (?) years younger, provides comparable production, and is about 8 times cheaper. Not bad at all considering the Grizz are waaaay in the red.
