probably our toughest matchup. usually i dont mind if we lose to a tougher opponent, but its the jazz, its gotta be a win, no other option.

Love how Battier managed to sneak into his own picture for the thread! :D

Incredibly classless game thread. Wow.

Rockets suck this year. Jazz will win easily.

Battier's wife is pretty damned fine.

And the whole Mormon thing is really, really old. I'm amazed that people are so religiously intolerant on a basketball forum, where you are likely to find people who have or perceive themselves to have been the victims of racism.

I don't subscribe to the Mormon school of thought (religion in general isn't so much my thing) but spitting on someone else's like this (when all Jazz fans aren't even Mormon, and the players certainly aren't) seems crude and asinine.

OK, moments from tipoff...

This will be a tough one. The Jazz have traditionally been a tough matchup for our guys, but this is an entirely different team this time around. We need the Truck to continue to cause fits for the big men, and Scola has to freaking step up this game if we're going to have a chance.

I'm hoping that Aaron & Kyle can match up well with Deron Williams, but the best I'm hoping is that they contain him. I know that my opinion is not shared by anyone outside of Utah, but I believe that Deron Williams is the best PG in the game, and I'd take him over Chris Paul in a heartbeat.

Our rookies are going to get their first taste of Sloan Ball tonight. Hopefully Chase and DA hold up well.

If you'd had called them the Utah "START THE F@#$ING SHOTCLOCK!!!!" then you'd be in the clear! ;)

That Shane pic reminds me of the photoshop image of him making that face at Kobe. I'm thinking that photoshopping Shane into random pictures will be the new LOL Cats.

I hope that the Truck starts getting some national recognition for his defense. Two steals to start the game for Wes Unseld 2: The Wrath of Khan.
