In the first 5 games of this season, Hayes has been balling it up against who ever. I decided to make a thread dedicated to him for this season. Looking like he'll have a career year. Lets all praise Chuck Hayes like there's no tomarrow in this very thread.

Every time we make a player appreciation thread that player promptly starts to suck ass. Can't we just let it be. We know Chuck will come back down to noobness...at least let it play out. An appreciation thread only speeds it up...Jeff Green will kill him tonight.

It's official: Chuck would have sucked tonight because of this thread, but Iggy's post ensures he will have a great game.

according to statistics, hayes has a good 36per minute production thing . he's gettin that 36minutes and he's producing baby, like wild baby carrots

Hayes is doing really well this season especially his offensive game has vastly improved. That's also one of reasons why we still have a positive winning pct.

Some interesting stats on Chuck Hayes:

Steals: Hayes ranks 2nd (out of 303 players; behind only Rajon Rondo) in the entire league in Steal% (Steals per defensive possession). Keep in mind, the top spots in this category are typically reserved for point guards and wings, as illustrated by the fact that Hayes currently is the only big in the Top 10.
Lest you think his lofty status is simply a byproduct of a small sample size, since 2007, Hayes ranks 14th in the entire league in Stl% and is by far the best big (1st out of 127). No other post player is even in the top 35.
Charges: (Offensive Fouls Drawn per defensive possession) Since 2008 Hayes is top 10 (6th out of 265) in the entire league in drawing offensive fouls.
Team Defense: Since 2005, Hayes has the best Defensive Efficiency Rating (Based on team points allowed per defensive possession while the player is on the floor) regardless of position in the entire league.

Apparently I am not as good as I once was. He sucked last night. Luckily ScoLandry picked him up.

well i have to keep this thread somewhat alive , hayes containing the 7'1 500lb shaq w/ only 3 fouls and shaq 5 fouls. not just hayes but he was a big part of it. team has to resign him, he's long ways from regressing . w/ an above average passer (rafer, tmac, no one on the current roster) he could've kept his offense steady from the start of the season . if we have to part ways with scola or landry this offseaon, he'll be perfect for the backup pf
