Guys, I think we should trade Tracy McGrady to the Knicks, it would be perfect!

Tracy McGrady, Brian Cook, and Carl Landry for Eddy Curry, Jared Jeffries, Larry Hughes, and Wilson Chandler

Why you ask?

With Yao out we lost all the size, and Eddy Curry is a serviceable big man to fill in for him while he's hurt. He was playing great a couple years go, even averaged 19.5 points, 7 rebounds, and shot 100% from the 3 point land! He has never missed a 3 pointer in his career, so being an obvious outside threat will space the floor for Aaron Brooks and Kyle Lowry.

I know we already have good wing defenders in Ariza and Battier, but throw in Jeffries in the mix, who can guard the 2, 3, and 4 and we just locked down 3/5 of the other team and now only the opposing teams point guards and centers will only be able to even get shots off! Best defensive team ever!

Larry Hughes would be a great fit for the team also. Nobody else has really stepped up this year, so we would need someone like him to provide us with a scoring punch.

We also have the option of taking Cuttino Mobley's contract instead of Larry Hughes. That would provide us with a lot of financial relief that we will need after making Tracy McGrady the highest paid cheerleader in history.

We should also target Wilson Chandler, he's a super star in the making. We will probably have to give up Carl Landry to do that, but just because he's putting up better stats this season doesn't mean he will in a couple years when Chandler is an MVP candidate. The Knicks can't see past 2010 though so they won't even know what hit them!

Curry is just starting to play this season. He slimmed down, so I think if he looks good for a couple weeks, we have to go for it. After 2 games, he is already average 3 TIMES as many points and rebounds as he did last season! Can we bring back the comeback player of the year award?? The Rockets suck, they barely beat the Kings last night so we desperately need to shake the team up, you would be an idiot not to agree to this trade!

THAT is a nicely constructed sentence...I doubt the Rockets get Wilson Chandler for a McGrady rental but, some variation of this trade could work.

The Rockets will NEVER trade FOR Curry. Get over it.
Now,if it's gotten to the point the Rockets just want to get rid of McGrady this season...
Mobley(and his expiring,insurance paying contract),Darko(and his expiring contract) and the rookie Hill for McGrady and Dorsey for one of the Knicks Trade Exceptions might be of some interest.
But that's only if the Rockets are to the point where no McGrady is best for the organization. They are not there yet.

Harrington is a gunner who plays zero defense,Curry is three times Cook's salary for ANOTHER yr,Hughes is a gunner who's ego far outweighs his talent and Chandler is a NY hyped SF who's less skilled than Ariza.

Hard to justify trading Landry for anyone on that team not named David Lee. If the Knicks want McGrady...Lee has to be involved. The Knicks just don't have anybody the Rockets could use that would be better than just letting McGrady's contract expire.

if t-mac gets traded, then that means we need to trade yao ming also, cuz the rockets are playing well without them... and plus yao ming is also injury prone. i think this report is such a bs and if morey really pulls this one off, then i will be very disappointed cuz the knicks have no one that can play @ a very high level...

honestly david lee is pretty weak on his man to man defense. He' s a good rebounder and pick and roll player. Thats about it. I don't see him being better than Carl landry or luis scola. The knicks are one of the worst defensive teams in the nba. David Lee isnt helping much. Wilson chandler is just a one dimensional scorer and is always undersized.

Lee, Curry, and Milicic for tmac? That aint so bad. Curry can draw fouls like nobodies business, and has good post offense. Milicic has some great post and PnR D. Lee is a b!tch on D but he gets a lot of extra possesions, and can finish as well as anyone.

Trading T-Mac to the Knicks is like trading Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown all over again... When is New York going to realize that they have nobody that any other team in the league wants?
