I wouldn't subject Shane or Luis to living in SLC.
How about Battier + Scola to Miami for Michael Beasley and Udonis Haslem (expiring)?

I'm not ready to drop Battier. He's an incredibly important influence for our younger players, and the leader of this team whether Yao and McGrady are out or playing. I'm surprised to see so many people just using him as trade bait. Sure, his stats are dismal, his defense has slipped and he hasn't been aggressive on offense, but do you really think that this team would be where it is if it was being led by Rick Adelman alone?

battier is our mutombo now. he gives us that veteran in the locker room that used to be deke. now he just needs to talk like him...

Houston doesn't like Boozer.
Houston likes Deron... and Milsap might be nice.
even your draft pick from NY, is more enticing than Boozer.

Interesting that Battier and Boozer both went to Duke and won an NCAA title in 2001.
Battier was the star and was drafted 6th overall in 2001 and became a good but not great NBA player
Boozer was drafted 35th overall in 2002. He is averaging 17/10 for his career, has been named an all star twice and won a gold medal.
Scola in Utah would be ridiculous with the flopping.

Boozers a pretty good player. People give him little credit in Utah, but I don't think Utah would have the same success without him. Maybe get him through free agency?
