I agreed with the 7 minutes for the first couple of games, but he certainly can play more. For example, a team like the Magic, in the 3rd quarter, literally STOPPED every one of our players. Ariza's taxed out, and we need some offense. McGrady, 1 on 1, even to this day, is still our best individual basketball player.

I get it, he's fresh from a surgery, it's been 6 games at 7 minutes. When are we going to bump it up to 15-20mpg?

I think it's just a vendetta against McGrady, on the behalf of Adelman, and it's getting tiring and very immature. We're losing games(not to say we would have won), and putting out BAD basketball last couple of weeks, cause our players legs are tired.

It's tiring to know we could be more competitive, but we're not using all our resources, cause our coach has a grudge against one of our players.

I don't think there's anything wrong between Adelman and McGrady. T-Mac is listening and doing his best, he's being patient, I think it's time to increase the minutes, and I'm sure Adelman understands that too. I think the team wants to make sure 100% that he's ready to contribute every single night and not take any nights off like he did last season.

I think because we've had so many back-to-backs lately that is why RA agreed to activate him and begin playing 8 mpg. I expect him to get more minutes after their next b2b.

I'd need to see what happens the next game. The original plan was for T-Mac to play these sort of minutes the first six games back from injury. If he still is palying these type of minutes, and Jermaine Taylor is getting 4th quarter minutes, then it's cruel, and how T-Mac didn't handle the situation correctly last season, the Rockets aren't this season.

nothing wrong at all, have to be extremely careful w/ his pt . tmacs goin w/ rick, and now its sooner than later tmac will get up to 20min. just being cautious for now, and the team is doing ok w/o him , so its best to keep him at 7min for now

Its fair to McGrady. He isn't quite back yet. He still has work to do. Its cruel to the fans b/c of games like last night. We don't have a single guy on our team that a good team like the Magic would fear. They essentially banked on the fact that we couldn't keep up the 2nd quarter play against em in the 2nd half and we didn't. The cruel part for the fans is thinking to ourselves if McGrady would have made a difference had he played more minutes. I think he'll be back to full minutes soon b/c keep him or trade him he has to play for other teams to show interest and be willing to part with the pieces required to pull a trade.

Fair; it looks like Adelman doesn't trust McGrady anymore and is just giving him playing time to increase trade value w/ no intention of fully integrating him into the team. I'm convinced Adelman is out on McGrady after the shenanigans he pulled.

the guy just came back from a major op. C-web already warned about coming back too early... does McGrady read/listen to anything?

the guy is just pure immature. it's like a kid who just had a bad toothache and is trying to have a boatload of candies the moment the tooth stop hurting.

Now, he is going to miss 2 games... sounds familiar... like last season? just that it's not "i feel i am not ready" but rather, sulking. Oh Tmac Oh Tmac, learn some life lessons from your teammates even almost all of them are way younger than you.

2) It wasn't his decision to miss two games, Daryl Morey stated that McGrady and the coach didn't see eye to eye with how T-Mac wanted to increase minutes.

3) I don't understand, since when did wanting to play basketball be a bad thing? I can almost guarantee you that about 100% of the fans out there would rather have McGrady take the shots and handle the ball that Trevor Arzia is handling and shooting at 37% FG, 31% 3Pt. I honestly hope the organization trades him if they're not going to let him play, and I hope they can get someone big in return, especially if it lessens Arzia and his cancer slump shooting. God, how much I miss Ron Artest right now, he was a smarter player, he was a better defender, and at this point he was a better shooter/scorer (I'd take 40%/40% any day over the crap Arzia is show casing), Ron has the capabilities to take a high number of shots, Arzia however is not.

is he? the fact that he thinks he is. how many times have we seen it? he puts some good games then craps up and misses the game. we have talked about this a few times and putting in on the original timetable would mean that McGrady will have no excuse for his "i think i came back too soon" excuse which was heard last season.

oh yea and attend his son's birthday. If he is professional enough, sit on the pine and see and listen
how u can help and integrate yourself into the team.

i don't understand why u got that playing basketball is a bad thing to begin with... wanting to play is good but wanting to play through sulking the media is bad. I admit that i'm not a big fan of Ariza atm; i rather Budinger play so that he can develop but he is injured. Ariza just needs to play smarter and have better shot selection. It is probably the coaching staff who are getting him to shoot more than he usually does.
