Decision about future playing time to be made after road trip
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/spo ... 87617.html

... Morey said the decision to hold McGrady out of the next two games was temporary, based in part on McGrady’s dissatisfaction with the previous routine.

“Where we go next deserves a lot of discussions and talking to Tracy, and figuring out what the best next step is,” Morey said. “Tracy didn’t feel like this is working in terms of working him back in. We want to develop the best next step. We’ll figure out what's next when we get back to Houston.”

Morey is playing hardball with TMac? Or some trade is coming?

McGrady wants to play more (not a bad thing), but it seems like the team doesn't want to just throw him in there with a ton of minutes if they don't get the 100% package that he'll be there for every game.

McGrady's done here in Houston.

This will become a huge fiasco, I understand maybe not playing him more minutes in the next two games, but not playing him completely? Adelman doesn't want to play him, and I think at this point, that's painfully obvious. We may not have a deal for him yet, but we know McGrady won't be so diplomatic if the situation continues. He'll demand for a trade, and hopefully everything is done with. Because right now, the organization is creating a sort of distraction to this team.

First it was, the main reason for him to be not in and out of the lineup, in this case, he's already done that, but on the Rockets watch.

I hate the hypocrites.. They say he handled the situation poorly last year, but they go back and do it this year.. They don't want a distraction.. they give a bigger one.

I would really hate to see T-Mac go cause he's my favorite player, but to punish someone for wanting the play the game of basketball is pretty low

^ im pretty sure he is punished for the stuff he said after the last game and the way he said it, which was unnecessary. if only tmac learns to keep his big mouth shut...

What he said post-game was certainly nothing inappropriate. He sided with Adelman, and said now it's time to change that plan. He agreed to it, abided it, executed it, now injuries and tired legs come into factor, and a rookie Jermaine Taylor comes in and plays 4th quarter minutes?

T-Mac's fine. He can play 15-20mpg. Anyways, yeah, this reeks of a trade.

Tracy gets what he deserves. He has been nothing more than a pain in the As-!! I also dont understand how playing Taylor is bad. We need to get him some time to develop. Weather Tmac plays 10 to 15 aint going to win us any additional games. Getting Taylor some time can only help us in the future( that is if he turns out to be a good Player)

Well to be fair, it seems those quotes were embellished, and the interview posted on Rockets.com, and the youtube link shows that McGrady never took it to the extent that article stated. And you have to look at the context when he was talking about playing with another team; they directly asked him about if he's playing for the sake of a showcase/trade, in which he replied with that answer.

Anyways, some more news on the situation on Richard Justice's, and Feigan's blog. Apparently McGrady will not be at the game today, to "attend his sons birthday party." Morey apparently said McGrady was not feeling the situation is working out, and Adelman quotes that he's not ready to meet Tracy's request of more minutes at this point in time.

Who is gonna trade for him based on 7 mins a game of playing time. Whichever way Morey decides to go the bottom line is he has to play more minutes. Teams are gonna low ball us all the way b/c all they know is they are getting an expiring contract. They don't know if this guy is healthy or not. We'll see where this goes. He is probably gonna be traded but he needs to play more minutes for any type of good trade to show up.

Atlanta could use a SF that can put up some points.

What would it take on our end to get him in an Atlanta uniform?

Can someone PLEASE gag this whining little Bitch!

Trade him, I am sick of his head, his opinion, his inability to STFU.

McLady needs to go. I don't care if we trade him for crap. I would rather crap than McLady.

Seriously, can he ever learn to just shut up. maybe his teammates need to butt in on one of his interviews, and say, "Tracy has no comment! He would say that himself, but he is unable to do so, as his over inflated sense of self worth makes him incapable of being humble and defering to the team!"

Any chance the guys that Shot Landry last year are still free? Maybe we should give them T-Mac's address!

I am so sick of McLady, (is it that obvious) get rid of him, and I don't care how it is done!

Assuming Horford, Johnson, Smith and Crawford are untouchable that leaves Williams, ZaZa and Bibby In other words, it probably won't happen.

Seems like not long ago that the Magic fans were telling the Raptors fans to stop whining about MeMac when he short shifted the Raptors. Then the Rocket fans were soon after telling the Magic fans to stop whining and that MeMac & Yao would bring the Rockets to the Grail. Now MeMac appears to be wearing out his welcome for some of the Rocket faithful. Who is going to be the next team to be ingratiated with MeMac's presence?

I agree, he's done with Houston, and the sooner he gets out, the better for the team. We obviously don't want to play him, so there's no point to keep him around. But you're (Please Use More Appropriate Word), there's no need for that, we should give him your address as well, makes our board a better place.
