Tyrus Thomas is a monster just looking at it from a physical perspective.
7'3 Wingspan? 5.6 body fat. 34 no step vertical and 39.5 max vertical. My god....

I think Dwight grew a bit since the draft, he should be closer to 6'10 w/o shoes now.

way to early to make that comparison.
hill's production value to his contract isn't too bad.
45% shooter a small plus in the +/- stat that morey loves.
2.6 mil next year and then three team option years after that could come out 13 mil or so total.
he's got height. which we desperately need now. and he looks like he has room to add a lot of muscle over the next few years.
and he played college ball w/ budinger.

He brings energy, is a nuisance on defense becuase of his mobility and length but he's obviously a rookie so not exactly lock down. He can knock down a jumpshot. No idea if he got post moves.

Moreyball, how do you figure Daryl loves +/-?

He has post moves but doesnt attack the rim because he lacks strength and they almost always end up with a fadeaway jumper. He also has really bad hands.

Don't get your Hopes up with Hill. I've been hopeful for him since we drafted him and I gave him chance after chance. He always lets you down.

Solid back-up PF at the moment is all we'd like, at least right now...and Hill should be capable of that.

You could say the same about Kyle Lowry with Memphis. Or Von Wafer with the Blazers/Nuggets/Lakers. Morey sees things us humans don't.

I think he spent at least 10 hours to calculate Hill's future with all the stats on his hand.

There are a few things that pop out when you watch Hill play, some good and some bad.
- He is active. Always around the ball, boxes out properly, setting screens.
- He has bad hands. I don't know what it is, but he seems to fumble the ball a lot. On passes and rebounds.
- He does have a nice stroke. He never really got steady shots nor was he ever in the flow on offense.
- He is a solid low post defender from the limited sample that we seen thus far.
Overall he has a lot of question marks, but I seen no flashes from him this year. If all you need him to do is come off the bench for now, he should be fine this year.
