T-MAC APPRECIATION THREAD!!

Post#1 » by KiDdFrESh » Thu Feb 18, 2010 7:43 am

Since I'm starting this one, someone else has got to create a Landry appreciation thread!! :( Cause I am about to go off on this one!!!

Well, I think its time we get this bad boy going here. I just want to say that I am a die hard Rockets fan and always will bleed red n yellow and I'm a HUGE McGrady fan and I am still sad that his tenure in H-Town is over! I will always remember his as a Rocket! Whether it be 13 pts in 35 seconds, or putting his nuts in Bradley's face, or all the highlight reels he made as a Rocket! Its unfortuante that the franchise didn't see the success that we wanted, anticipated, or even hoped for you! And it pisses me off when I have to sit there and listen to [EDIT] fare-weather Rockets fans who don't have a clue about Basketball unless they see the highlights on ESPN.

All they talk about is, "I'm glad he's done here. Everything was HIS FAULT!" Get a [EDIT] clue[EDIT] !! BITE ME!! Was it his fault that we weren't able to to put solid talent around him and Yao until injuries really plagued his tenure in Houston? Was it his fault that Carroll Dawson crippled our cap structure by paying Mo Taylor 8+ million and Hoocie Norris 6+ million a year to be a backup PG? Was that T-Macs fault? Is it T-Mac's fault that the best help he got outside of Yao was Sura, Jim Jackson, and uhhhh Deke? Was McGrady at fault when Donaghy rigged our playoff series against Dallas? Yeah Mac should have done more. Should have wrecked the Mavs and then beat the refs and Cuban.[EDIT] !!

What about against Utah? It was T-Macs fault that only him and 3 other players managed to score in the entire game 3? Yeah I guess should have got passed the double, triple teams, and not only set his teammates up but then shoot the ball for them. Was it T-Macs fault that him and Yao couldn't stay on the floor together? It must be T-Macs fault that only 2 players from our bench remain in the NBA and are usually 3rd stringers (Howard and Luther). Everybody else from that crappy ass bench is out of the league already and tits only been 3 years!! Shame on T-Mac! He should done more! Shoulda been the GM as wel!

Yeah T-Mac [EDIT] up last season with his knee injury and how he handled the situation. Im not exucsing him from that. THAT WAS HIS FAULT! BUT ALL THIS CRAP ABOUT WE SHOULD HAVE WON CHAMPIONSHIPS, WE WERE NEVER AN ELITE TEAM. Without T-mac WE were NOTHING! Its no surprise how god awful we wer in the past when he didn't play and Yao did.

DAMN THIS IS A LONG POST! BUT WHATEVER i wish him the best and I hope he bounces back and wrecks shop! I HOPE HE DESTROYS US WHEN HE PLAYS HOUSTON!! HE WILL FOREVER BE A ROCKET IN MY BOOK! [EDIT] THE HATERS!!

Alright I'm done! I NEED A DRINK!!!

Thank you Tracy. You endeared yourself to Rockets fans. Well once anyway, in a game against San Antonio. You made exciting to be a Rockets fan again, at least for a season. You got us all behind you for a series against Utah, then proceeded to get shut down by Derek Fisher and Matt Harpring. You were a giving guy. You gave so much to the people of Darfur. For some reason you decided the fans paying your salary weren't important though. You were a great leader, it just seemed to only be when times were good. You were a good teammate. Ron Artest, Yao Ming, and none of the other Rockets ever complained about you. All in all, I'd say your 6 years here was memorable, except I don't seem to remember you playing in about 3 of them. I must have been hit on the head.

Goodbye Tracy, don't let the door hit you on the way out, we'd hate to see you get hurt again. Good luck, it's funny how Kobe and LeBron don't need it.

Perhaps my only regret about McGrady's time here is that he didn't have more help back in 05. Yao sucked, the roll players suck, and McGrady might been the best player in the world.

Thankyou for being responsible for Landry being traded to Sac-Town. (By being Responsible, I mean having a bloated Contract, making you near impossible to get a decent trade for.)

Thanks for dashing all Rockets fans hopes for the last 5 years.

Thanks for being the only God Damned Rockets Jersey available for sale in Australia.

Thanks for nothing.

Good Riddance.

Jazz fans all over would also like to thank T-Mac for his time in Houston.

P.S. Now that I like your team, who am I supposed to hate on?

If he gets bought out I hope he ends up in Utah or Dallas.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

We got Tmac for SF3/Mobly/Kato

Then we trade Tmac for a big pwnage

we rapped the deal to get you, we rapped the deal to get rid of you

Thanks for the good times T-Mac:

- 13 in 35 seconds against SA

- The dunk on Shawn Bradley in Game 2 of the Dallas series

- The game-winner in Game 2 of the Dallas series

- Leading the team to a 22-game winning streak

- Being a top-10 MVP candidate on one leg

1. Droppin nuts all over Shawn Bradley
2. 22 wins in a row
3. 13 points in 35 seconds

Despite the hate that most (rookie) Rockets fans have for you Mac, thanks for the memories and no ill will. Best of luck from here on out.

Return to Houston Rockets
