2nd half predictions? Kevin Martin seems to think we are a playoff bound team.

We are two games above .500 good for 10th in the Western Conference. We are 1 game ahead of Memphis and trail the Hornets by .5 game for 9th! We trail Portland by 2.5 games for #8. Who just picked up Marcus freaking Camby for NOTHING!!!! The Spurs are in #7, ahead of us by 3 games.

Who's going to fall off in the Western Conference?

At this point, I'm going with LAL, DEN, UTAH, DAL as LOCKS for the playoffs. To be honest I dont see Portland and OKC falling out of the race either. That leaves 5 teams fighting for 2 spots. Idk what is going on with New Orleans but I doubt they can keep it up. Memphis doesnt win enough road games to make the playoffs.

I can see us passing up SA but we have to start winning these bogus games. Kevin Martin is going to have to go on an offensive tear if we want to really have a chance.

So what do you think? The die hard Rockets fan in me says we make it. But when I watch this team. I just don't see the fire and intensity on nightly basis like we did in November and December. I refuse to be against Houston. I predicted us to make the playoffs before the season started. So I'm going to stick to my prediction.

team is not makin the playoffs like this but there's still time if adelman gives our bigs a **** chance . kevin has to shoot good

wont be easy to get in the playoffs but getting ur head out ur ass is a great start for rick

We kissed our chances at the playoffs goodbye, (for this season at least) when we traded Landry away.

a month or two ago I would have said we would make it, but chances are slim now :S. We'll be good enough to not get a chance at the lotto too arrgh.

Rockets only 3 games behind Portland and 3.5 behind SA. I wouldn't mind seeing a 1st round match up with LA just for **** and giggles.

Definitely looks like it'll be a lottery season. The separation from the 8th seed, and the teams on the outside looking is widening.

Playoffs really aren't out of reach as Brooks & K-Money are quickly becoming one of the more prolific scoring tandem in the L.

New Orleans & Memphis both lost tonight moving us up to 9th. But we are still back 4 games of Portland & San Antonio.

I'm certainly not getting my hopes up but it would be nice to see LA in that first round with this squad.

I'm not even worried about the Griz and the Hornets. I'm confident that Houston will finish with a better record than both of them. San Antonio has a pretty difficult schedule coming up so there still is hope for the Rockets.

How did we get 5 games out of the playoffs so quickly? It's seems like just a couple of weeks ago we were right there.

Since December 31st ... Houston is 10-16. Thats what happened.
