Goodbye Temple, hello Conroy?

Post#1 » by Guy986 » Tue Mar 2, 2010 11:35 pm

Why are the Rockets so cheap. I don't think Temple could've done any better for us as Brook's temporary backup. Just give the man his well deserved minimum contract. Sheesh... I mean we're paying 40 millions to 2 guys to rehab, whats that extra 80k?

Couldn't we have offered him a 1 year non guaranteed contract like we did for James White?

Why couldn't they just sign Temple to another 10 day contract?

He's already off the second one. To keep him on the team he has to be signed for the rest of the season. We get Lowry back in a few days, so we're keeping Conroy for flexibility, and can sign either of them at any point in the future if needed.

I guess signing Conroy isn't a bad move then. It would be pointless to sign Temple for the rest of the year if Lowry is coming back soon.

Temple and Conroy should go halvsies on an apartment. Save a few bucks, since one of the two is always up here.

Temple was a decent back up, I like his game. I think that it was the right move. Once lowry comes back there will be no need to sign temple for the rest of the season. Saves some money going with conroy. Good luck temple in the NBA. He with the kings now? I think it's another 10 day contract.

Didn't Temple sign a 10-day deal with the Kings?

Why do the kings take all the trash that we throw out? I know they're desperate to be us but now they're even cherry picking our d league players
