Very nice comeback, Tavarez was solid, Manny with his first homer and Crisp and Cora with important contribution. That will be a key throughout the season, we need other players to step up and get key hits and make key plays!

Just stopped in to see if Joey Cora was getting any love. Great play on the double-play ball and of course the triple. I had a feeling he would hit it hard after watching his first swing. He was right on top of that first ball that he lined foul.

Also, it was good to see Timlin get out of a jam, and was he ever pumped. He could be a key piece of the puzzle this year, if he gets over whatever he had last year.

Good game for us.

Mike Timlin is truly horrible and it would be a shame if he got lucky a few times like tonight and then Francona used him in actual pressure situations.
