Think Stanton has proven he's capable of starting this game. IMO, no need to switch to Hill, who still has a broken finger on his throwing hand.

Detroit Lions now have three banged-up quarterbacks
That said, if Shaun Hill is healthy, he'll be the starter. Hill was throwing the football fairly well last week. One more week of work and Hill's broken right index finger might not be a significant factor.

Hill is expected to take some reps during practice this week but the ratio with Stanton -- or No. 4 quarterback Zac Robinson -- remains to be seen.

The calls go both ways during the season sometimes they go your way and sometimes they don't. Example 1st game of the season calvin johnson caught a touchdown against the bears which would have won the game for the lions but it was called i...ncomplete.i never got over that one till the tampa game (karma) the lions got paid back maybe a call went their way on one of two recievers plays in the end zone.

Where has Morris been?......inactive or on special teams.....
Anyone notice that he seems to be the only back that gets to and through the hole
quickly?? Best jukes behind the line too much, and I hope I've seen the last of Kevin Smith
streaching every play to the sidelines and never turning up-field. The linemen must be having
more fun now, firing out. Maybe a run game can keep the defences honest .By the way, last year the Lions went 10 consecutive games without a 100-yard rusher until Morris got his first start of the season and he gained 126

Mathew "Ouch , my shoulder" Stafford
2010
Wins - 1
Salary - $3,100,000

Drew "Ready when you need me" Stanton
2010
Wins - 2
Salary - $531,890

Yeah, Stafford is the better QB but he seems more focused on finding excuses so-to listen to his iPod on the sidelines and cashing his guaranteed checks then Quarterbacking the Lions. I really like to see
Tom Kowalski write a piece on why nobody has seemed to notice that Matt Stafford has gotten fat.

Stafford has always had that baby fat look. He hasn't been able to work out so it stands to reason he put on a few pounds on top of it. No way he should even be a consideration to play the rest of the year, can't believe they haven't put him on IR.

I would play Hill in this one. He's better at reading the rush and at delivering an accurate ball on those 10-15 yard patterns, which is where the Dolphins are vulnerable and where Stanton misfires too much. Miami's safeties spy the QB scramble real well, so Stanton's legs aren't as much of an asset here.

Could be another real good game for Mo Morris and some play action passing.

The defense must capitalize. Chad Henne will make mistakes, Lions must convert those mistakes into positive outcomes. Davone Bess will be a problem. Ronnie Brown could be a problem too if the LBs keep getting caught inside like they tend to do.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

need you say more?

Where did you mention anything about defense in this topic? It's not a secret that if you play good defense, it helps win the game. Especially when you're missing your starting QB and you don't have a potent rush attack.

Great win.

Joe Dumars said the Lions will go to the playoffs next season before these 3 wins! That doesn't look that far fetched anymore.

One more and it's the Vikings. This one is winnable.

Great road win. The team showed great poise in the final 5 minutes of the game and take control and leave with a W. Alot of key guys made big plays. Brandon Pettigrew, Jahvid Best, DeAndre Levy, Ndamukong Suh. These are guys we are building around and they all played a key part in this victory.

Also saw some good plays from guys like Corey Williams and Nate Burleson that shows that Mayhew/Schwartz/etc can spot good talent on other teams that can help us out.

Minnesota is a team that we can beat at home. A victory against a division foe a good way to end the season, not to mention a 4-4 home record. Maybe next year we can strive for a winning home record and a .500 road record.

Exciting time to be a Lions fan!! RAWR!!!!

Couldn't agree more. What a great time to go on a winning streak, especially after CJ expressed his growing sense of unhappiness after losing so many close games this season. Let's win this last one at home and end the season on a positive.

I watched the last half of the 4th quarter. It was an optimal time to turn the game on

Im really stoked for next season!
