MUST WIN!!

Our young team has alot of confidence right now. It's important to finish strong. A 6-10 record is what most people predicted for us this year, it'd be nice to hit it. Especially against a run down division opponent, at home, while they are going to be on a short week.

Hopefully Calvins ankle will be okay for Sunday. I'd like to see him finish the season strong on the field.

After watching the Vikings beat philly detroit will have its hands full if the Vikings play like they did in that game.

Even if the lions won the bears game and the jets game they still would not of have made the playoffs.

Vikes looked real good Tuesday. this one could be fun

Of course, keeping Joe Webb from making plays with his feet will be a key

I cannot believe we won four straight to end the year! Suh was beastly again and should easily be defensive rookie of the year. Burleson had a great game too.

I am very excited for next season already

Very excited about next season/the future already. Let's hope everyone can stay healthy next year and we can make some good pick ups in the offseason. Love the direction we're going!

I know a faction of Lions fans were hoping to close the season with 4 more losses rather than 4 straight wins, but the Lions really needed this. The Lions needed some kind of tangible result to show that they are moving in the right direction. Not only for the organization, but for free agents. Money being equal, Detroit's only selling points were it's beautiful weather and thriving economy. Now, the Lions are regarded as a team on the upswing. That will help the team.

Pros and cons both way. We did win 6 games and could have won more if we didn't get screwed, so maybe we don't need those super high picks anymore. At least we save the money and gain a little respect, and our coaches show that they work hard at their jobs win or lose, and now they are sniffing results. Kinda hard to complain too much about that. I just prefer instilling the winning spirit by not having to rely on guys that aren't going to continue on and be part of our fresh new decade of success. We could be adding value to make the future even easier and our present challenges even harder, and whose to say that giving younger guys more reps and practice and pressure now won't help them even more when we then have more draft picks to build around them. Some of these guys ending the season on a high note are going to go on to other teams, and you can't claim value for that portion. So I say figure it out in advance and sell those guys off and let them turn into future value instead of being just a one year rental for a swan song. The 2010 season was over long ago and we held onto it way too long, from a player personnel structure standpoint, not a coaching standpoint. They did their jobs well at the end but they should have been assigned to a different coaching project than what they were presented with.
