RIP Killer!

Post#1 » by Icness » Mon Aug 29, 2011 8:25 pm

Lions beat writer and prominent Michigan media presence Tom Kowalski passed away at age 51.

I like David Mayo's tribute:

I appeared on Killer's show in Detroit once and he was very good at his show(s). He was arguably the best inside info man for any team in the league.

He sure was good at getting info and inside scoops. Even when I didn't agree with his opinions I always thought he was working consistently hard to always supply fresh and insightful news and tidbits. I am shocked by this, I saw the title and thought no way that means he died, thought maybe something happened and he got fired or had some kind of new job that he took.

For those interested, his last interview is on Mlive under the Lions section.

I would paste a link to it in, but I'm not too sure what the rules are on that.
