Game 10: Packers @ Lions

Post#1 » by ajaX82 » Sat Nov 17, 2012 5:51 pm

I fear our bad and injury-ravished secondary will be absolutely no match for Rodgers. Our only chance is the line just dominating and creating havoc for him. Matthews and Woodson out for them will help us score some points. All signs say shoot-out in this one

i didn't even bother to wake up for this game, i'm done with the Lions this season. All this hype and talk to only find out "they are who we thought they were" . i'll watch the houston game but only because i'll be surronded by alcohol. haha

A summary of good and bad for this game is always appreciated

Another crap start from Stafford: 1-for-6 for 3 yards.

I counted 5 drops during the game. Stafford's throws were all over the place, missed several throws by many yards. Trying too hard to force the ball to Scheffler late.

The DL was fantastic, Fairley had his best game and dominated the Packers.

Red Zone offense is atrocious, though Leshoure got a TD with a tough run.

Backus got hurt, likely to miss Thursday. Reiff got a penalty in relief but was otherwise competent.

Safety play is directly responsible for both Packers offensive touchdowns. That Finley catch has to be tackled and no one was there.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I really think losing Delmas was our biggest loss. He seems to be the defensive general, majority of time makes a TD saving tackle and is all over the field. My hope is next year with a new look defense personnel that we get alot more of those type of players

Injuries are always bad, but I was pumped that Reiff got to play and will get more time hopefully. He's going to be good. Fairley also really stood out to me; he seems to be finally coming into his own
