What?! lmao he completed only 50% of his passes! It was a great game by Shonne Greene and the NYJ OLine and the NYJ defense for only allowing 14 points against the SD Chargers. Sanchez did practically nothing to help the team.

Oh yeah and that TD pass was just how they drew it up. He had a beautiful clutch improvisation and made a wicked throw to score the game winner against the vet star QB of a 2 seed AFC team. Now he's playing against Peyton Manning for the AFC Title. Yeah it was a great game. Sanchez did a great job.

Don't forget Kaeding missing 3 straight field goals.

I love watching the Jets run run run run run the football and then try and have Sanchez look at his color coaded wristband to see if he can throw it or not. Jets should be thanking Shonn Green for winning the game for them. He was a man out there. He's the only reason (besides some fortunate penalties) that the Jets got any first downs at all.

Any Super Bowl predictions?

I think its going to be a really good, close game. I will predict that the Colts squeak out another victory...

Too close to call. This is the first Superbowl in like 6 years I didn't bet on cuz I just have NO IDEA what will happen.

I'm rooting for the Saints but I wouldn't be upset if the Colts won. I just think the city of New Orleans needs this more.

Just got the ESPN mag in the mail.....funny tidbit about who each team is rooting for in the Super Bowl.

Says the Lions are rooting for the Saints. Says something to the effect that we got Harrington and Charles Rogers, while Indy got Manning and Wayne.....not fair. Thats why it says we're going for the Saints.

Joey Harrington was a Saint, thought he still was then I looked it up.

I'd like to see the Saints win. I honestly don't have a true favorite though.

Pro Bowl was a disappointment. How many players that were voted in didn't play? Was it 30??

It reall muddies the concept of what a Pro Bowler even is. I thought it was supposed to be the very top echelon guys, as sort of an exclusive club of the very best, but now it's like all the B-students are being asked to join the Dean's List.

If te Saints can do it, our Lions should be able to do it as well! There is hope!

I am so happy for the Saints. I hope Bourbon street celebrates for awhile.

Lions can get there. Not the next couple years, but in a short amount of time if the team is built up right. So far, Mayhew has done an incredible job. He's got a draft class that can really upgrade our team. I'm so anxious for him to start making moves.

Saints went from being crappy enough to get Bush to winning the Super Bowl pretty quickly....

To be fair, that was 4 years ago, they didn't have Drew Brees that year they did really crappy and that's when the hurricane destroyed New Orleans.

A lot has happened to New Orleans since then and also, New Orleans is a lot better place for free agents then Detroit is.

I disagree on NO being a better free agent destination than Detroit....

Detroit's a bigger market than New Orleans

If Minnesota, Green Bay, and Chicago can all get free agents, then the weather's not that much of a factor for free agents......Even if it is, we play in a dome.

It's not the weather and market. It's that players want to win.

And in NO's defense, a lot of players wanted to go there to help the community. That's why NO and Detroit cannot be compared.

Makes no sense....

The players could help NO whether they play for the Saints or not. They all make enough money....and I don't remember hearing a lot of players say they wanted to sign there "to help the community."

Drew Brees went there because of Sean Payton. Basically every key guy they have on their team came through the draft. Sharper actually said he loves the rebuilding community.

Can any cap gurus explain what having no cap means for free agency?

I heard that its making a lot of free agents "restricted," and I heard another story about how the teams that made the playoffs will be limited in their spending somehow....

Not sure how accurate either is - can someone clarify please? Thanks in advance.
