^ agree, I think our main concerns next draft is tackles (both sides) and cornerbacks.

We're not anywhere close to being complete.... but if some of those questions are qnswered regarding QB, RB, WR, LB etc.... we'll know what positions are priorities.

Thank god Millen is gone. His "in the moment" mindset really REALLY set us back. To bad some of our fans have that same mindset.

Maybe Michael Crabtree will go in the draft again next year and we'll draft him :/

draft Russel Okung (OT Oklahoma State) and that would solve our LT position and we are able to move Backus to LG where he would be dominant. If we are better than expected and slip to around the 10th spot, Trent Williams (OT Alabama) is a possibility. But I would be thrilled if we were able to grab Okung. He should have more buzz to him but he loses focus a lot playing (bored with competition??)
Definitely a franchise LT.

anyways, Taylor Mayz would be a GREAT compliment to Luis Delmas if we decide to go defense. Ndamukong Suh (DT Nebraska) is a top five pick who's freakishly athletic and strong but injury prone. Terrence Cody could work behind Grady and learn the ropes and be a pro bowl NT one day down the road.

Draft option are definitely there now that we don't need to draft a QB or WR.

Free Agency.. we could pick up OL off free agency like Jahri Evans and Marcus McNeill. D-line could be solidified if we pull in Julius Peppers or Aaron Kampman. Elvis Dumervil is a target i'd like to aim for as well. Now we need someone to take Larry Footes place. SHAWN MERRIMAN!!!!! CB is a big hole for us and there's a lot of CB's I would like to have in Detroit. For instance, Ellis Hobbs and Marlin Jackson.

Detroit is looking like a FA destination more and more every year. 3 years and we're on top of the division.

Okung, Suh and the safeties (Mays and Berry) are all real intriguing options. I would love any of them

I really like Okung. I would be thrilled if he became a Lion next year. I haven't seen alot of Suh. Don't see alot of Nebraska games but have heard a little about him. Still a full season of NCAA football to evaluate talent though.

One guy I wouldn't mind if we could get him with an early 2nd pick is CB Myron Lewis.

I think he'll play corner in the NFL and right now he's projected as a 2nd round guy.
