So when Best tears up his knee on the opening kickoff and is done for his career on the first play of his career, you'll take responsibility for that? I'm sure you know already that 19% of all IR trips result from special teams plays, which constitute just under 7% of all plays. That sure seems like it's too risky for your rationale, esp. since you don't want to pay a 1st round pick.

Yeah cause the odds are distant, any player can get hurt any play, it's about utilizing your players in the appropriate risk situations, and for those first 3 division games he should take every opportunity unless somebody is clearly better. We need to swing in those games. 100% absolutely. Surprised you don't see it that way.

Wish I could, but I don't have the resources or the network or the background history to have any shot of getting enough votes. If I did then that would be my life's work to fight for that job.

TSE lives in TSEs' world. No point in trying to argue with him. Things like facts and common sense are irrelevent. I'm just suprised TSE hasn't started a "lets claim JaMarcus Russel" thread.

Anywho back at the bat-cave....and the Around the League thread. Shall we discuss whats going on in the NFL like LTs crazy rape charge or the worst #1 pick ever being released? We can leave the delusions of grandeur for another time yes?

TSE, what's your email address? I have something I wanna send you that you might think is hilarious. It fits your personality so much.

*Note: This is not something that you would take offense to at all. Promise.

someone might wanna tell Brian Cushing to go easy on the innocence front. Just man the hell up and admit you made a mistake and it wont happen again. But going as far as to suggest you have tumors producing false positives....i mean jesus...

“The question of how it got into my body is still unclear,” [Cushing] said. “It’s something that I’m very personally concerned about, just the fact that how it’s there and what’s going to determine it from happening again, and that’s something we’re going to have to medically investigate.”

He said that after failing the test, he was told HCG can get in your body from injecting it or because of tumors. He said this information led him to believe he had tumors. He did not say what kind of tumors.

Dr. Gary Wadler, who leads the committee that determines the World Anti-Doping Agency’s banned-substances list, said there have been cases of malignant testicular tumors producing HCG. Still, those cases are “extremely rare.” “Malignant testicular tumors producing HCG are rather lethal,” Wadler said. “It is a fairly aggressive tumor and you’re not playing in the NFL with one.”

The guy is a douche... so were his USC teammates. I wasn't upset at all about passing any of them up in the draft. Although I was shocked that Rey kept falling.

It's only a matter of time before Clay Matthews gets busted for something... he's the last one of the "Band of Brothers" to do so.

Cushing was known to be taking steroids in highschool. It was known. They could never prove it, but it was known. I just wish he'd shut the hell up about it and move on.

He's my new least favorite player of all time. To make false claims of cancer to justify steroid use is indefensibly horrific. He's a lying, cheating POS and I hope Brian Cushing suffers a series of major injuries that ruin both his career and his life.

Lol now he's citing "overtraining" for the positive test. Just very scummy in general.

Had he come out right away and said this I might have given him some credibility because the dude hits the weight room harder than any player anyone has ever seen. But when this is excuse #5?!? STFU roid boy

Overtraining while he has cancer? Man, this guy has heart.

Seriously though, Cushing should have just kept his mouth shut, and went about his business. Keeping up with all these lies just makes the situation that much worse. I think he suffers from BarryBonds-itis.
