The Lions signed former Ram 2006 1st, Tye Hill. A 5'10" CB with a history with Linehan. Maybe Tampering????

And JT O'Sullivan, who worked out for the Lions this week, signed with the Raiders.

I didn't think the Broncos had the balls but they fired McDaniels.

Josh was a real prick so it cant be too surprising. Tried to be too tough and was so damn stubborn. And the stupid, stupid trades didn't help. Hillis for Quinn? Trading all those picks for Tebow? ugh

adios

He was a pretty terrible HC, but will land on his feet as a coordinator again shortly....

Any guesses for next coach to get axed? Mine is actually going to be Marvin Lewis (Cinci).

The last two NFC teams standing are from the Central....didn't see that one coming.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

The way they have been playing, wouldn't be surprised at all if the Packers won it all this year. That team seems to be peaking at the exact right time.

As long as the Jets don't win it all, I'll be OK with the end result though.

Why would the Titans let Jeff Fischer go? What a stupid decision, that guy is a helluva coach

They might be picking Young to stay with the team for the future instead.

Word is, they're going to trade/release Young anyway.

Well Champ Bailey resigned with the Broncos, which means we won't be getting him as a FA. Not that we had a great shot anyways but still

That's ok, he was getting old anyhow. He' s not worth the money to us with our present shape. He could have been perfect if we did things right the last couple years such that he could be the final cherry on top to complete our dominant roster for the next 4 years, but we aren't ready for him now because of the lack of proper moves beforehand. It would have been too risky and too costly to sign him as we are.

If you're thinking of FA corners, look at Jonathan Joseph from Cincy. The Lions will be

Why are the Lions looking at him? Don't they already know he's better than any CB we have, sign him up! lol

I see a nice defense for us with Joseph and Asomugha as our 2 new starting CBs! :) We aren't going to likely land in a favorable position to draft a CB this year, so we desperately need to get at least one of these guys.

Um Yeah i fully support signing Jonathon Joseph if possible. Him, Smith and Houston would be a nice 1-2-3 at CB.

And it allows us to go best OL player in the draft

I like Johnathan Joseph. He's not going back to Cincy by all accounts, might as well add him to an up and coming team where he can grow as a #1.

Johnathan Joseph/Prince Miller
Amari Spievey/Erik Coleman
Louis Delmas/John Wendling
Chris Houston/Alphonso Smith

Not a shabby secondary

Yeah it is not ideal but that would be a definite step in the right direction. With our D-line being so damn good, they don't have to be perfect either.

Jonathan Joseph isn't going back to Cinci? By whose account? Last I heard they do still want him back, they just don't want to sign him before the new CBA is done, and they would be really dumb to let a guy that good, and fairly young, walk for nothing.

I think it would be more of he doesn't want to go back to Cinci, not that they don't want him. But i guess im not privy to what is actually going on so :dontknow:
