A little surprised we didn't put a "spy" on Cutler. The front-four put TONS of pressusre on him, but he almost always was able to scramble out of it. I wonder how many sacks we would have had if we designated 1 LBer to spying him and just finishing a couple of those sack opportunities.

49ers will be an interesting test for our D next week. Smith can also scramble around, and he'll have more weapons (Gore, Davis, Crabtree, Morgan) than Cutler had.

Favorite play, that i saw, was when Hanson knocked Hester out of bounds. It looked like Hester was complaining that Jason was too violent or something. Thats when you know someone has lost focus.

Yeah I thought the same thing. He just wouldn't give up and he gave everything he had. I mean I would never actually expect a QB to officially quit in a game, but in this case if he did I think I would have understood. It's just like MMA fighting, you never quit, that's the cardinal rule, but when you quit because you got submitted or TKO'd then that's an exception lol. He was the brightest spot on the team, well Forte was good too, but still I think that a lot of his production was cheap in that I believe our defense has too many voluntary exploits that shouldn't exist, so overall Cutler was the real star for Chicago in my mind.

Also, I didn't notice Fluellen in the action too much, did anybody notice how much he played or how well he did?

We should have had 1 or 2 more touchdowns in the first half but stafford over threw wide open, CJ, Ypung and burleson, though Burl stumbled a little throwing off the timing. Still Staffords throwing too much off his back foot. he needs to step up into the pockey, instead of backing up and counting on his arm to out throw the DB's.

I don't recall seeing him play other than special teams. SL Hill was not on the field as much as normal either, but then again Fairley played more than I expected. Methinks Willie Young has blown past Fluellen on the rotation.

Just noticed the Bears had their first round pick (Gabe Carimi) and 2nd round pick (Stephen Paea) both inactive, plus their 5th round pick is their #3 QB Nate Enderle. They didn't have a 1st or 2nd in 2010 and their top two picks from that year were Corey Wootton (inactive) and Joshua Moore (didn't make team). That team is going to crash and burn HARD!
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
