I heard Eric Berry threw a frisbee so hard, it revolved around the Earth and returned to him. That's how boomerangs were invented.

Eric Berry is so smart, he'd draft Ndamukong Suh over himself.

I heard if you can see Eric Berry, he can see you. If you can't see Eric Berry, you may be only seconds away from death.

Yeahhhhh. If Detroit had the number 1 pick, I'd say draft Suh since that's when he's gonna get drafted. But we're not getting Suh unless we trade up.

I want one of Suh, Berry or Okung. Any of the three and then defense in all other rounds and I'll be happy.

But man, Suh gives me the tingles when I watch him play. *SWOOOOOOON*

We need a runningback. You can't really think that Kevin Smith is in our future.

Kevin Smith and Aaron Brown are very good RBs. Kevin Smith has had a sophmore slump, partly due to injuries, but he's a solid RB. The problem is we use the same damn RB and RB play everytime we run the ball. There's no deception. I loved what he did in the Browns game. He ran, but he also made good cuts and part-timed as a receiver. It confused the defense and opened some things up.

NO RBs in the draft. We need DEFENSE!!!!!

We also need a RUNNINGBACK that can break a goddamnmed TACKLE!!! Did you see Kevin Smith get tripped up by our own linemans toe?!? That's absolutely ridiculous. He's not that fast and in order to break off a big run, he can't be touched. Bring in a power back. We haven't had one of those in a very very long time.

He's fine. Don't get worked up over one game. We have bigger pressing needs. Like defense and an upgrades offensive line (preferrably ones who don't trip our RBs LOL).

I think a better O-line would go a long ways to helping KSmith....that said he does go down if he is breathed upon

I think we should either go for that G. Tech RB in the 2nd or 3rd round or go for Darren Sproles.

RB is the easiest position to fill late in a draft. This is a pathetic year for RBs too. Beyond Spiller and maybe Dwyer or Ben Tate, there is very little. I'm not a Best or Gerhart fan.

With the way Suh played against Texas he has to be the #1 target for Detroit. The Rams won't take him, they've spent two 1sts in a row on the DL in 07 and 08. The Browns are completely unkown because they will have all new people making decisions the first week in January. Tampa would have to strongly consider him.

I have Gerald McCoy in the latest mock draft at #5 overall. I would rather have Okung but I think Schwartz will win out with his argument for defense first. Eric Berry is too redundant with Delmas, Lions need help much more on the lines. A lot of people think he'll be a better corner than safety and that would be fine but top 5 is too high.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Actually, I think Berry compliments Delmas very well. Berry is great in coverage where Delmas can be suspect at. But, that's not Louis' game. He's a ball hawk.

Berry and Delmas is the perfect safety duo IMO.

Ndamukong Suh PLEASE. I loved his game against Texas. Even though Nebraska got screwed. Suh is a M*****f*****ing BEAST!!

Rams/Cleveland are probably taking offensive players. Tampa is my only concern. Although, if Tampa finished with a better record than us, I'd like our chances for Suh.

Why Suh though? I don't get it? We are a decent run defense. It could be better but it's still decent... where as, we are last in every passing defense category. Berry is the only option!

But thats the thing....Suh would help the pass defense. The biggest problem with our pass defense is that we put no pressure on the QB. I dont care who your DB's are, if the QB is getting 7 seconds with no pressure, he can check all his options, set his feet and make an unimpeded throw. And it gets completed almost every time. This is what happens against us.

Suh is the type of player who could help put pressure on the QB so that they cant make those prefect throws. So that they're moving or feeling the heat, or not getting the chance to check all the options. Suh is the guy who could, *gasp*, actually hit the QB, something our D-line seems allergic to. And he is going to obviously bolster the run-d as well, which is still really bad.

I like Eric Berry too, i do, but Suh really is the guy. Pressure on the QB = better pass D, every time

Return to Detroit Lions
