lions players being claimed by other teams

All of a sudden everybody wants our players?go figure? is our talent moving up?

The lions must be getting better players when teams are picking off our players on waivers.
The 5-foot-9, 210-pound halfback was Baltimore’s sixth-round pick last year. He played in the preseason, then was waived and claimed by Cleveland on Sept. 6. He spent four weeks on the Browns’ practice squad, then was released.
Detroit signed him to its practice squad and later promoted him to the roster for a couple of games, although he never carried the ball.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns claimed defensive back DeAngelo Smith off waivers from the Detroit Lions.
Smith made 28 career starts at Cincinnati, where he recorded 126 tackles and 12 interceptions for the Bearcats
