Saturday, 5 sharp.

Discuss your giddiness for Colt McCoy, seeing the offense maybe play over the half, Suh killing people or any other events

Holy crap, home debut of Suh and Best!!! This better not be blacked out.

I'd like to our starters stretched out. We've seen a number of different lineups and schemes. I'd like to see that expanded. I know preseason is to judge your 2nd and 3rd string players, but most of ours suck and don't deserve to be on a team. I'd rather our starters work on perfecting plays, getting timing down, and building chemistry. Much more important than watching guys like Eric King stink up the place.

Isnt the third preseason game the one where most teams play the starters a bunch and treat it more as a game, while the 4th the starters barely play and its all backups? Thats how i seem to remember it...

Yeah but each team is different.

I'd like to see Delmas out there, even if it's only for one quarter.

You think Mangini will be gunning for this game?

^ I agree. Jahvid Best is our #1 RB. Maurice Morris and Aaron Brown are good backups. I'd trade Kevin Smith for a LB or CB.

Matthew Stafford just looks so much better this season. Not just his throws, but his vision seems better and he's really throwing the ball away instead of forcing shots. Most of his incompletions (through all 3 games so far) were intentional throw aways instead of possibly turning it over. That will help out the team so much this season.

Our D-line still got alot of pressure. They didn't get sacks, but they were chasing Delhomme out of the pocket on numerous occasions. And Suh almost ripped his head off. I don't even mind that he got the penalty, he's starting to make his presence known.

Our linebackers were active this game, especially on blitzes, but they still seem off.

Chris Houston had a nice heads up play picking up the fumble and returning it for a touchdown. Now if only he can work on his ball skills, he might be a decent CB, even if he isn't a #1.

We play the Bills next, which still won't be much of a challenge. I'm anxious for the season to start already.
