The game story will be not be that close , Detroit will win 30-20

Stafford needs to stay away from first or second series INT that he has done both times in the last two games.

We need pettigrew to do better ,and would like to see more of Keiland Williams at RB to grind out some yardage.

Defence need to shut down the run.I do see the defense getting more INT,s which the lions will need in this game.

Stafford hasn't thrown picks on the 1st possession each game.....regardless, I do see this as a very close game. Possibly one that could go either way depending on turnovers.

I hope we win, it might be a game we should win....just AP still scares me and I hope this doesn't prove to be McNabb's 2011 busting out party.

For now, I will predict something like 27-24, Lions close victory.

Game plan is easy--put Speivey in the box, keep the ends at home in run contain, and make McNabb beat 'em over the top. Offensively keep attacking down the field with the passing game and keep the D honest with some inside/out runs.

Must start more efficiently than the KC game. Peterson will get his 125 or so yards and probably break one long TD run, the key is to limit his opportunities and convert possessions into scores. This game scares me a little because of Peterson and Harvin and Jared Allen and the return of Kevin Williams. People sometimes forget that Minny has those four game-changing All Pro talents. Their OL is very vulnerable to Suh & Co. though.

I like Icness' idea to make McNabb beat us over the top, but I don't like Spievey in the box so much as a 5 man front slaughtering the suspect DL of the Vikes and giving AP extra pressure up front while also pressuring McNabb. He's a vet and he can play the long ball game well if he has time. But if he gets quick pressure and lots of hits and his running game falls apart, then that's it. The Vikes really have no business winning this game, too many holes so we should be ok. If we lose, it will most likely be on Gunther, he's more likely to end up being the one to blame than any of the players imo, because he would have failed to do something to stop or contain McNabb or AP as one of them has to have a big game in order to take us down.

24-21 Win...It's early, but I think this is the game Minnesota really tries to make a stand to save its season. A loss here and their fate is pretty much sealed as the cellar dweller of the NFC North. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Lions leave with a loss, but with the way we've been playing, I do think a win is more likely.

Vikings are going down by at least 10pts to upwards of a blowout .As long as stafford does not become a turnover king.

People in Minni have been unhappy with how little Harvin has been used. I would expect him to get a bunch more snaps and looks this week

The Vikings are an absolute mess right now. This one has the potential to get ugly but that's probably unlikely.

Lions inactives: QB Drew Stanton, WR Rashied Davis, OT Jason Fox, OG Jacques McClendon, DT Nick Fairley, LB Doug Hogue, CB Alphonso Smith. Glad to see we finally put Rashied Davis on the inactive list, he's just a waste of a uniform and we need all the depth we can get.

First half was brutal. The line has been laughably bad, as seen by Gosder sitting right now. Though Backus was just as bad if not worse.
