Because Harris is playing against his former team and the lions will win 35-31 with Harris getting an INT

I hope Stafford can keep throwing TD's and not get injured , the offensive line is getting weaker as the weeks go on is my only worry.RB's will be fine. What is burleson doing ?

Harris’ first game with the Lions will be against his former team, the Bears, at Soldier Field on Nov. 13.

He said Lions coaches have not picked his brain about Chicago’s defense — yet.

“I’m pretty sure that will come next week. They know them pretty well, I might be able to watch film and kind of figure out what this is or what that is," Harris said. “I pretty much know the defense like the back of my hand. I can help them out from that aspect."

If Chicago loses to PHI, then losing to Detroit would just about be the nail in the coffin for their dwindling playoff hopes. Could be fun for Harris to make a big play. I'd start him lol.

HUGE game.

Again, the keys to us winning will be:

1) Containing Forte
2) Containing Forte
3) Protecting Stafford
4) Kicking away from Hester

dont forget

Contain Forte

As i've watched the lions the pat 4 weeks. We're getting after the quarter back but it feels like we should have double if not triple the amount of sacks we have. Last Bears game cutler made some hard throws getting away from pressure, i just hope we can put him on his back a little more

Cutler was great in the first meeting, must finish some of those pressures into sacks or forced INTs.

I like the Harris angle, plus he is still better against the run and knows where the plays are designed to go. Just keep him out of coverage help because he will get beat.

Too early to forecast because the Bears have to tangle with Philly. That figures to be a very interesting game. I kinda want Chicago to win just to help bury the Eagles. I think it would be cool to get three NFC North teams in the playoffs.

Harris would be more important with the offence coach telling him every play how the defense is set up so he can autoble the correct call.

Stafford is still green ,has still has yet to play a full season, so he needs to learn very much by the end of the season hopefully he will be ready for the playoffs.

Lions need to replace burrlileson with another reciever ,he has lost two many steps to be effective.

Here's what i remember about kevin smith ,he is not a north south runner.
he get's the ball and dances around east and west and then gets tackled for no gain.

Smith, who gained 976 yards as a Lions rookie in 2008 and 747 in 2009, was not offered a contract this past offseason.

I think this one is not going to be pretty for the Lions. Hope I am wrong but I've got the Bears 30-10 and a real rough night for Stafford.

Has their line improved any since then? Because it was real bad last time

Three sacks allowed in three games. That includes blanking the Eagles, who led the league in sack percentage heading into that game.

I think instead of blitzing, we need to designate Tulloch as a spy on Cutler. Not for his running ability, but his manuvering around being sacked.

Rush 4 and have Tulloch spy on Cutler.

So many times against us last time, and also many times against the Eagles last week....Cutler was able to scramble around all the pressure just long enough to find a rec open downfield. His pass protection is still bad, just Cutler's ability to manipulate the pocket is very good. If we spy him, I think we convert a lot of that scrambling around into sacks instead of allowing him to buy time.

Hester and Peppers (among others) got dinged up on MNF too. Any word on whether they are good to go this week?

Nate Burleson is on pace for fewer catches, fewer yards and fewer touchdowns than last year – and the Detroit Lions just don't care.

In 14 games last season, the veteran receiver had 55 catches for 625 yards and six touchdowns. Halfway through this season, Burleson has caught 26 passes for 245 yards and just one touchdown.

we should switch burleson and titus young

I would have preferred to see Aaron Brown brought back in instead of kevin smith. Brown provided more burst catching the ball out of the backfield.

So he's on pace for 52 catches and 590 yards instead of 55 and 625? That's a 5% decline, nothing serious. Johnson has more than made up for his drop in touchdowns and that is by design. And Young was brought in to help ease pressure on both of them...and he has done that. I'd argue Burleson is playing better than last year; his catch rate is up, and he's on pace for almost the exact number of catches despite seeing about 1.5 less throws per game.

Burleson has a catch rate of 59%, Young is at 49%. They have seen the exact same amount of targets over the last four games, but Burleson has caught more so that's why he has more stats. Young is a rookie that plays outside, Burleson is a veteran than plays in the slot. Their roles are different, no need to force one out at the expense of the other.

Calvin Johnson is on pace for 22 touchdowns vs 12 all of last season. 94 receptions vs 77 and 1604 yards vs 1120. Notice anything, I'll let you take your time if you need to.

Since teams do not have to worry about nate burleson they are going to blanket johnson more so the next 8 games that will be much harded for him to keep that pace.He will have less TD and yardage in the second half (8 games) lions will have to go to titus young, RB and TE more because they will be open.

Lions placed tackle Jason Fox on season-ending injured reserve with a right knee injury. Since being drafted in the fourth round out of Miami (Fla.) in 2010, Fox has played only half of a game with the regular offense — against Minnesota in last year’s season finale.

Where do you get this stuff from? As has already been mentioned above, Burleson's efficiency is up and the difference in receptions and yards is negligible to last year's. Meanwhile, Calvin Johnson's having a monster year.

You're acting like Nate Burleson lost his ability to play football, when in reality he's like a baseball player who has been given less at bats but is hitting a higher batting average.

Age 30-Nate burleson=9.4 yards per catch ,slow getting off the line.usally 1 on 1.
last year 2010 Nate burleson =11.4 ypc (my point he lost 2 steps easily )trade him at end of year.

And the 1st pick lions shoud take is a wide reciever.wait till later rounds for OL !!!!! you have to get a playmaker with the first pick.

Titus young =14.5 ypc
Tony sheffieds=12.9 ypc
Rashied davis 14 ypc
CALVIN jOHNSON 17.1 YPC

If i was an opposing team i would go 1 on 1 with burleson (not a threat) and then double Calvin johnson

P.S.- Kevin Smith last year had a 11.2 ypc

Quotefrom:

Dave Birkett:
On Burleson, the numbers have been down and he'll be the first to tell you he's having a somewhat disappointing season. But he's still good for the locker room and doing some other things on the field (end arounds, blocking, etc). Just passing priorities are CJ, Pettigrew, Best when he's healthy and then Titus gets his catches, too. Nate had a couple drops vs. Atlanta before the bye. Costly,

and they do that. The Dallas game Calvin had 3 guys on him.

The Lions also signed Robert Malone, so I'm guessing no Ryan punting on sunday.

10-0 already, Cutler is on fire and Stafford looks bad. I might be done watching this one soon.

Not sure I agree with Matt looking bad...it isn't his fault the WRs are fumbling. One of his incompletions hit Stovall right in the hands and another was just a throwaway. He has one other incompletion.

I think you meant to say the Wideouts are making too many mental mistakes
