Lions sign RB Joique Bell to active roster

The Detroit Lions have signed former Wayne State running back Joique Bell to their active roster, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
Bell had been on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad.

Word is, we cut RB Aaron Brown to make room for Bell on the roster.

Yeah, he's a bigger back and more of a north/south runner.

He's built like Michael Turner. I liked what I saw of him at the Senior Bowl. Good guy to give a shot.
IIRC he was with the Bills for a while this year too.

I think he started with the Bills, and at some point, ended up with the Saints before the season started. Right?
