Asked this week if he'd be willing to work with a passing coach this offseason, the Detroit Lions quarterback shot the idea to the floor.

"Probably not," Stafford said, per Justin Rogers of MLive.com. "It's not something that I feel would be my style or beneficial to me."

Wow...am I over-reading into this or should I continue to feel we are completely and utterly screwed if this is really his mindset? Typically not something I would make it's own thread for but seriously....he thinks he is fine?

Well, he has a QB coach via the Lions staff.....so maybe this is his 'politically correct' stance to take publicly to not slight the coach?

But in all reality, he should do whatever makes him better in the offseason. If that's hiring an independent QB coach or "guru," then he should.
