Carl Pavano, RHP (0-0, 8.31)
Now that Pavano has finally erased June 27, 2005, from the public consciousness, the right-hander's task is to continue taking turns around the rotation. Pavano didn't allow the atmosphere of Opening Day nor some sloppy defense to derail his effort against the Devil Rays; more accurately, he ran low on gas in the fifth inning, but the start was still a stepping-stone. I say if the Yanks win you have to keep making game threads until they lose. Then someone else make them until they lose again. So on and so forth. I'm really looking forward to this one and I hope Arod can keep up the pace he is on. -Jitpal

this game is going to be in double digits, probably like a 12-11 or 13-11 game...something like that...because both pitchers aren't that great lol

Usually I would say good luck, but who am I kidding, I hate the Yankees. I don't have much hope for the Twins this series though.

Good for you. We'll just let Morneau, Mauer, Hunter, and Cuddyer hit it OVER that "little sign." By the way, its not a sign.

Last month wasn't that long ago. Its only been 9 days. He got his spot skipped so Santana could stay on schedule.

9 Days is a long time. Pitchers need consistant work to keep their location and timing in place and at least in the early innings he could be walking more guys that normal. Not to mention Ponson isn't exactly known as a guy who is going to have pinpoint control anyway. -Jitpal

Don't you think he's had bullpen sessions?
