So now the Lions are paying Rogers franchise money, Redding franchise money, they're paying Dewayne White top 10 DE money, and the head coach is a noted D-line guru. If this team doesn't dominate the line of scrimmage and finish top 10 in sacks (and they won't!), they've made some HUGE mistakes.

This comes as a huge suprise. Millen make mistakes? LOL! I think the DL and the LB positions will be ok, but surely they're not all worth top dollars. I do think its fair to give Redding that kind of money however, he's played very well and done anything that has been asked of him. I'm just hoping for a decent season and that maybe next offseason we can get our problems in the secondary fixed.

I agree that they'll look like mistakes if they don't come through but at least, for once, it's a commitment and risk taken on a more vital part of the game. I wasn't against the CJ pick or anything but it's about time the Lions actually started really trying to show their interest in the line of scrimmage.

If we get Simeon Rice I don't know what to think anymore.
