I don't know if this thread will help or not, but we can try to keep all the Lions offseason rumors, free agent signings and trades in this thread.

So far the Lions have signed Dwight Smith, CB, from Minnesota to a 2 year $5 million contract.

Another rumor that is floating around is that Jonathan Vilma is already in Detroit for a physical and if he passes he will be traded to the Lions for Shaun Rogers.

Jevon Kearse was cut by the Eagles today. I am sure the best of his playing days are well behind him since he can't stay healthy, but if he would settle to play for fairly cheap I think the Lions should at least take a look at him.

Well initial reports came out earlier that Rogers was being traded to the Bengals for a 3rd and 5th round draft picks in the upcoming draft, but that deal fell through.

Rogers did end up being traded however, he was traded to the Browns. The Lions will receive Leigh Bodden, CB, and also a 3rd round draft pick in the upcoming draft.
